I like following patterns for my crochet projects, but for whatever reason I can never count past 10 without getting jumbled. I promise I passed pre-school, just can't multitask as well as I thought I could! LOL anyway, I bought this pack and I count no longer. After a stitch I press my stitch counter (red), and when I finish the row I chain 1 and press the green. It slows me down a tiny bit, but progress is still faster as I'm not recounting my stitches every 10-15 additional stitches made. Plus, if I ever need to put my project down for longer than I would have liked. The counters turn off on their own and pressing the big button wakes them up and they're still on the number you left them! I did fear that my project would accidentally press the counter button, but it's not super sensitive that some minor pressure from the project would set off the counter. That being said it does take a little more than a light tap to count it, so be sure to give it a good centered bop when in use or it won't count. Other than that, it's super duper useful! 10/10 would recommend for the folks like me who passed basic math, but forgets to count when doing something else! It takes a little getting used to when crocheting, but once you're used to it it's so much more convenient and CHEAPER than buying a counting needle or something else of the sort. ... show more

This works exactly as expected. However, the plastic chemical smell was so strong I got a headache, and the strap is a little long. Additionally, I can’t figure out any clear way to turn it off or remove the back in case I need to replace the battery.
