Switched to this dry shampoo because CL rates it as little to no Benzene in product

To begin with, I like this dry shampoo a lot. Doesn’t take much and although I only leave it in for one day when I use it, I have the sense that I could go another day after using it. I only use it when I don’t have time to wash my hair the night before, when I should have. My hair is fine and now th
at I’m old, is dry rather than oily like when I was younger. Because it’s so fine however, I can only get 2 days out of a shampoo before my fine strands start to stick together. If I can’t/don’t wash my hair after the second day, I need a dry shampoo on day three. I use it as directed, shaking the can thoroughly and use sparingly. I let it sit in my hair for a minute or two and then comb it through, not brush it through and then style it. Yes, it has a whitish cast at the start but combs out. My hair is brown with gray/white strands so that probably helps. The can is small but I think that it’s because it doesn’t have a lot of propellant in it, so don’t let the small size scare you, and don’t feel like you have to fill your hair with the dry shampoo for it to work. That may also be why it is rated by Consumer Lab as having little to no trace of benzene in it, a known carcinogen. Several sunscreens were recalled this year that had high traces of benzene in them. Not ALL Klorane dry shampoos fit this category. This one and their Nettle Oil Control one do. It’s pricy but I like Klorane products so, there you are. Prior to using this dry shampoo, I used the No fragrance Not Your Mother’s Dry Shampoo which I liked a lot. So of course it is #1 on the list of high in benzene. Drat! I could buy it at my grocery store and for less money. However I do like the light minty fragrance of this dry shampoo and since I don’t need to use it often, the cost of having a benzene free (or close to it) is worth it. Well, that and I do like it too. You might want to search online asking for recalled dry shampoos. Many have been recalled: On October 18, 2022, Unilever issued a recall of 19 dry shampoo products including Dove, Suave, and Tresemme after an internal investigation found the products to contain benzene. The only dry shampoo that does its job on thick asian hair. The cooling effect feels nice, scent is not overwhelming, and makes hair look fresh and washed! I can finally get on the no-poo trend!

easy to use, blends nice with a pleasant scent but very little product for the money. Love it for travel but a bit pricey.

Cleans and adds body to your hair
Size: 3.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I didn’t care for this particular dry hair shampoo. Most add body to your hair as it cleanses. This doesn’t even make my hair feel cleaner. I have short hair too, yet it just doesn’t work for me. Disappointed in this product.

Hair looks, feels, and smells fresh

My hair is light brown and gets oily quickly. This is one of the best dry shampoos and doesn't leave any residue or buildup. Easy to use, blends nicely, absorbs oil well, and smells great!

The best dry shampoo on the market
Size: 3.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I can't say enough good things about this. I've used the high end products for years ($27+ per can! ) and this is far better. I can go longer between washing, the smell is fresh, there is no residue and they cost less.

Matted my scalp hair, disappointed

Sadly it didn’t work for me - It made the scalp hair very matter, tangled, unmanageable. The smell is okay but sort of like a stale mint. Sadly can’t return it and it was $12 :/ I was better off buying “hairtage” brand at Walmart

Best dry shampoo I've ever used

I used to only use Batiste, but now I'm trying to use less toxic products. I just avoided dry shampoo for a few years (assumed there wasn't a healthy alternative) but recently I've decided to try and not wash my hair daily. Due to how oily I am, I need something to tide me over til the next day. Besi
des the oil, my scalp would get VERY itchy and irritated. Not only does this dry shampoo reduce the oil without that gross white residue, it helps my scalp. It's no longer itchy if I skip a wash. My hair is very thick so it's hard to get to the roots/scalp, yet somehow this seems to. I'm not a fan of scents in my products, but this is mild enough I can tolerate it. It's pricy but well worth it to me.
