LOVE these! Absolutely love them. They are very nicely padded, very comfortable, stay in place with no ties, seams are sewed very sturdy , and so far just wipe clean if anything spills on them plus I love the red color. Im mostly impressed how they stay in place with no ties. I thought for sure I’d have to sew something on to them to keep them in place but have not had to do that. I did a LOT of research before choosing these cushions based on a combination of reviews and best overall value for the price. I’ve been using them on my kitchen chairs for several months now. The foam has compacted a bit, so that they don’t feel very cushiony. They still look good, and they are easy to spot clean with a drop of dish soap on a damp sponge. Some other reviewers complained that the nonstick bottoms came off onto their chairs—that has not happened to mine. I have them sitting on wooden kitchen chairs that we use every day, so they are getting a lot of use, but no problems yet except that they’re not as thick or comfortable as I’d like. They have the look of being tufted (with buttons), but they are not. Each chair cushion has 4 circles sewn straight through the entire thickness of the cushion (about the size of a nickel), to give the look of a button but this is clearly a less expensive approach than actually tufting the cushions with buttons. Despite the limitation in thickness/comfort, these were the best value I could find, in the color I needed (burgundy/wine) after searching for a very long time. They also fit the shape of our chairs well—they are curved at the back and square-ish at the front. I gave 4 stars based on the overall value compared to many other chair cushions that I researched.     • Why didn't I buy these sooner?

We've had this dining room set for 24 years. It is nice, but the seats are hard wood. We had started placing a sofa pillow on our seats. That wasn't attractive. I then thought that I would make cushions, but maybe I would look on-line to see what they have. After all, sewing them can be expensive, given the fabric and cushioning. So, after looking for a fairly short time, I happened upon these. I measured and they seemed to be the best choice. Color was another thing. There were quite a few to choose from, but I chose the celadon. It isn't a solid color, but green and whitish textured stripes that blend together to make it look like a light celery green. They are comfortable and they stay on the chair. At first I ordered 4 since that is the number of chairs always at the table. Realizing that would be a problem when we had guests, I was happy to see that they also came in a set of 2. So--I ordered those. I'm very happy with my purchase. ... show more

I love those chair cushions, and I'm a repeat customer. 2 years ago, I bought red faux leather ones for my kitchen (and they're holding up great), and now dark brown faux leather for my dining room chairs. They look niece and are so easy to clean. Some people complain that these cushions get flatter with use, but I actually welcome that because my chairs feel more comfortable when the cushions are not high. I've been looking for cushions that have a low profile, a leather look, are not stiff, and stick to the chairs (with no need for ties). These cushions have all those features. I only wish that the manufacturer offered the faux leather ones in more colors (specifically, some toned-down shade of green). ... show more

    • Not quite what I expected (bummer)

These were a bit of a disappointment, and I'll go 50/50 on the blame here. They are the perfect size for my kitchen chairs, but way too thin. The ones I was trying to match -- I have three, need four total, and apparently they're not being made anymore [these were the closest I could find, design-wise] -- are twice as thick. That's my fault for not measuring or taking note of the 16 x 15 x 2 size indicated on the Amazon order page. They have a very strong anti-slip surface, probably better than what I currently have for the chairs. But these are a polypropylene-polyester blend, making them far rougher overall than the softer, basic polyester ones I was trying to match. The biggest disappointment is with the color; these "flame red" ones are closer to a burgundy-gray color than the bright scarlet I was hoping for. There's always some color distortion from a digital image vs. reality, but this is a bit beyond the mark. These pads are probably the perfect product for some folks. They just don't work for me. I'll try the next style up -- Klear Vu's "overstuffed" version, which is supposed to be an inch or so thicker -- before I rule these guys out entirely. ... show more
