This product is great, low enough to the ground without having to loose the lip around. Keeps litter in unless you have a cat that just chucks litter without aiming. It’s very sturdy, the color is nice, and it’s hefty enough to not get flipped over when our cats stand on the lip. One of our cats has arthritis so it’s big and low enough for him to do his business without being to uncomfortable and his siblings (him and his brother suspect to have Maine coon genetics, they are BIG boys) love this box that after a couple weeks they really prefer it to any other boxes we have. Pretty much the only litter box that works for both of my household's cats. One of them is huge, and he needs something wide so that he doesn't blithely go off the edge and onto the floor. The other is very tiny, and a litter box with a 10in height (like most extra wide ones) would force her to have to jump in and out. They do sometimes push litter out of the entrance, but honestly, no litter box is 100% litter-tracking proof. Wish more litter boxes were designed with cat's comfort in mind. ... show more

Had to buy this for our handicapped cat. We found her abandoned when she was about 4 or 5 days old. She seemed fine but, later discovered she has Wobbly Leg Syndrome and had trouble climbing in and out of a regular litter box. This is perfect for my little sweetheart.

The larger-size and lower access makes it so much easier for older, arthritic cats to use this litterbox. It's not deep but allows for enough litter. Texture of the bottom makes it easy to scoop and clean. Worth the price.

Our 18 year old cat was have trouble getting in and out of the conventional litter box. This box is perfect with the low entry. Well built and sturdy construction. I do wish the 3 other sides were a little higher so when the cat digs the litter doesn't fly out. My biggest problem was the price, thought it was costly for a plastic box ... show more
