This litter box is wide enough that she is comfortable getting all the way in & that is keeping her droppings inside! We still put disposable pads on the outside just in case her booty is not fully centered in the box but overall this is been a real help. I like that it is Made in the USA too- YAY! This was a great liter box for a large cat or a home with multiple cats. Also works perfect for an older cat who has trouble getting in and out of a 4 sided box. I wish I would of bought it sooner.

One of my cats has very weak hips. She is much more comfortable dealing with this low entry, very large pan. Also, her “miss” area outside the pan has decreased considerably & seems to still be shrinking, so I’ve already been able to remove half of the pee pads in front of the litter pan. It’s easy to scoop & litter doesn’t stick. I would definitely give this 5 stars if it were, say $28 instead of $40+. ... show more

My cat is 16 now and the old box has sides that were too tall for her to comfortably navigate. She’s using this box now instead of finding other places to do her business. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with a senior cat.

Love this litter box ! I have two senior cats with severe arthritis in all their legs . They can now get in and turn around freely in this box ! I highly recommend this litter box to anyone that has senior cats !

I was fostering a mama cat and her kittens. This low profile litter box allowed the kittens to use it, get in and out of it, with ease. It’s very durable and easy to clean, large enough to accommodate big/senior cats and a bunch of kittens.

My cat has seizures and has some residual side effects because of those. She struggle with getting into litter boxes and getting her whole body in. We have tried so many different things! Like one reviewer, I had an over 19 year old cat with severe arthritis. These cats don't squat and that means the urine shoots out over the walls of the box. For my cat there really isn't a perfect box because she was quirky enough to enter the box on one side but exit another. This is because she couldn't turn around easily. In other words, having low walls on all sides helped her "use" the litter box since she could still jump out. My solution at first was to use only a smattering of litter to make it easier for her to stand and walk around in. That enabled her to go far enough into the box so the jet of urine more or less stayed contained. But as she got older, she simply wouldn't go far enough because she was so unstable and therefore the urine would spray out of the box. My solution was to use wee pads outside the box to soak up the urine. Could I have done away with the box and just used pads? Sure. But anyone with a super geriatric cat knows that habits die hard and going through the motions of going into the litter box was deeply ingrained. ... show more
