Description

King's Cages 8003628 Play Pen Bird Cage 36 inches wide by 28 inches deep by 71 inches high (to highest perch). Floor to Lowest Perch 66 inches. Inside play measurements 41 inches high by 35 inches wide by 27 inches deep. Front Door Size 33 inches by 17 inches. Inside Bar Spacing 1 inch. The large front access door makes placing or removing your bird a snap! The front access door includes a central bird-resistant lock. The matching stand features industrial-strength casters for easy movement. Comes with a slide-out removable tray and grate for easy cleaning, including six stainless steel feeder bowls and one perch. Features four swing-out stainless steel bowls. Spacious interior can easily handle multiple medium to large-sized parrots. A large seed skirt significantly reduces unwanted mess. Includes breeder box door with latch to add a breeding box. The bottom grill to the bottom of the tray is 7 inches, so the bird can not play with paper in the tray.

    • Hope my new guy loves it as much as I do!
I bought the coppertone color and love it. I'm still trying to figure out why I had a lot of screws & spacers left over though and why I had to go to Ace Hardware and pick up some smaller diameter screws and additional nuts for other screws.. I've checked everything and just don't see a place for them. Yes, the instructions could be a little more specific regarding which screws go where. Putting it together by myself was a little challenging because of having to hold up different pieces by propping up on a box because not enough hands available. However, it's together and looks great and I pick up my rescue double yellow headed Amazon tomorrow morning. Xmas arrives a little early this year!!!! Bottom line is that everything went together easily and all the pieces were there. I think my Nolan is really going to enjoy his new place. It was suggested by other bird groups that King's Cages are the best because they're just larger/thicker bars and better welded. Sorry that I didn't have enough of a problem to contact anyone, as the aforementioned review did, & get several free toys!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... show more

Beautiful, wonderful cage. Directions overall were good enough to figure out. There were extra screws left for backup, or I missed some spots lol. It is a heavy cage and you need 2 persons to build it. This company ships it well. Wish I would’ve taken a picture beforehand. But they put it on a pallet and then another pallet vertical and shrink wrapped the shiz-nit out of it lol. It is shipped by fedex so the company will messaged you for your phone number bc fedex does call to let you know an hour before they deliver which is nice. Cons: • the bowls as seen in pic have these drilled spots but those spots are rusting so I won’t use to it hold the drinking water. But as a food bowl is fine. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. • For the price, I wished it came with a spare wheel in case a wheel broke. We move more than the average person so our last cage, the wheel had broken & couldn’t find a replacement wheel. ... show more

After 30 years of having several parrots including African Greys and Eclectus I never had a problem with the powder coating wearing off. I purchased a Kings cage in Jan 2024 because I purchased one previously and was happy with the play top design and food bowl doors. I an not happy with the one I purchased this year. Food bowl design was changed and the bottom grate is too close to the drawer that catches droppings. I can live with that but when I was recently cleaning the grate I noticed powder coating had flaked off. When I contacted the seller I was told basically too bad. There is no warranty. That is the worst customer service ever for such an expensive item!! They could have at least offered a new grate. I will stick with A&E for cage purchases in the future. ... show more

I inherited a parrot and we needed a new cage for my newfound buddy. King's cages were highly recommended and I took the advice and ordered one. This cage is amazing! Great quality and design. There were no sharp edges or points like other cages that I have looked at. I have a feeling that this cage will last MANY MANY years and keep being a wonderful parrot paradise! ... show more

The instructions could be a little more informative on the large door mounting. There was a loose nut in the box that I had to use for a spacer at the bottom, because the door wouldn't swing because it was dragging . Other than that, it is an extremely well built cage and worth the money!! The gentleman who responded to my inquiry on door mounting sent me numerous free toys to make up for my frustration! Great cage BUT...... The instructions are horrible and the door is held in by a small bolt and didn't feel sucure to us, we were able to fix it with some hardware from Lowes.
