This is a great Balaclava. it is thick enough to keep you warm yet thin enough not to make your helmet too tight. if I have one complaint it would be the mouth area you breath through is not quite at the right point for me. I know they are uni-fit and probably for some it is perfect. if you have a bigger head or face you might find it just right, but even with that as an issue, I still use it every time I ride in the winter. I can fold it down by my chin and it still fits well. This is very soft and I find it's less constricting than others that I have purchased including name brand ones for motorcycles. This is a great balaclava, its true to size, it’s soft inside and out, it’s stretchy, the mesh makes breathing easy and it seems durable and good quality. But: The top part is shaped somewhat weird, almost square-like. As I was planning to wear this under a helmet that won’t work since it doesn’t fit snug to the head.
