It’s not super heavy that it’s suffocating me at night or anything, but I wouldn’t exactly categorize it as ‘light weight’. It definitely keeps us warm, I’ve woken up sweating a few times. It is super soft and cozy tho. I absolutely love it. It was a bit pricey but we just moved into our new custom home and everything is high end, looks great In our new master bedroom. Love my quilt! The quilt is thin enough not to be hot but has a little bit of weight to help with a wonderful nights sleep. I absolutely adore the pattern and wish I had ordered the shams with it. I foresee another order in my future. Shipping was fast and delivered when expected.
