I am surprised at how light weight this comforter is. I would not call it a comforter but a very light weight blanket. I washed it and it washes well and is soft. It’s so light weight it fit in my 5th wheel washer/dryer. I don’t usually get to wash my bedding in that washer/dryer as it’s always too big. So if you are looking for a summer cover this is it. I am happy I bought it. For fall and winter, it will be under a quilt or two and eventually will move to my winter bedding. But for now, it’s great. THe aqua is pretty and again is great for summer. Update 10-20 I love the aqua one and finally pulled the trigger on the pink. Worried it was too pink. Just like the aqua, it’s gorgeous! It’s not ballerina pink it’s softer but not a dark dusty pink. It’s in between. I didn’t want to pay for it as it’s a bit more than I wanted to spend, but happy I did! It’s so soft and looks great with my comforter and sheets. I have the aqua in my 5th wheel and the pink at home. Love them both! It will be perfect under a comforter for a blanket and perfect on its own in spring and summer. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Ok everyone, hear me out... in reading the reviews, it seemed like a risky buy because some said it was so thin while others stated how much they loved it and how soft and warm it is. I had to see for myself... if it's as thin as they say, how could it possibly still be so warm? I don't know how, but it is just that. It is the warmest blanket I've ever had for it being as thin and lightweight as it is. It's like a little incubator that traps all your body heat inside. You know how when your feet get cold, and you tuck them under a blanket to warm them up and it can still take awhile??? Not with this... they're warmed up and toasty in no time! I sleep better cooler and my boyfriend sleeps better warmer and it seems to be just right for both of us. Upon opening I thought it was a lot of money for what felt like a queen size 'throw', but I am verrrryyyy pleased. The pups approve as well! Notice the rust color I purchased is like a dusty greyish/charcoal plum. Very neutral. If you're on the edge, I don't think you'll be disappointed. You can expect a very thin and lightweight blanket that is still incredibly soft and warm! I believe it will be good for ALL seasons! ... show more

Beautiful set. Buttery soft. Pillow shams came damaged. Gray is really more like a dark taupe color. For the $ point it’s a nice quilt but if you sleep on the hot side this may not be for you unless used in COLD winter months.

I just received this today so I can’t speak for longevity. But out of the package it is very soft and a good weight. We keep our house cool in the summer, but don’t want a heavy comforter. This feels perfect! It didn’t have a smell out of the package either. I ordered feather gray but it is more of a tan. You can see the “feathered gray” against my actual gray pillows in the back. Update: we’ve had this a few weeks only and it’s already pilling. Disappointing. ... show more

    • Color is more Dusty Mauve, NOT "Iron"
I ordered the quilt in Iron. When I think of the color iron, I envision exactly the color that's shown on the item description. Sort of a darker, brown/burgundy color. This is more of a dark dusty mauve - 100% purple undertones, & it is definitely not iron and not even remotely the color pictured. Now, I like the quilt and I can use it in a different room otherwise I would send it back. It seems to be nice quality and is really soft ... would be 5 stars if the color was as pictured and described. ... show more

If you are looking for lightweight so as not to be too hot AND soft..Buy this. It is soooo soft, a silky gauze like soft, but is not gauze. Very lightweight quilt, no filling, just a quilt. Perfect for someone wanting something not heavy and hot. I love it so much I am buying one for my bed and mo other son.
