I have a higher queen size bed so I purchased the California king size and turned it with the stripes running vertically so I could use as a spread and cover the bed pillows. I purchased the King size bed set. It fits perfect and the colors are great! I ordered the red and yellow, but the colors are not bright so it's blends with my deep gold curtains and will work for all seasons. It's a lightweight quilted set which will go through the fall and also winter with a blanket or two underneath. I haven't washed it yet which I intend to do now that I know it fits the bed.
