The neck of the giraffe moves ever so gently and the music is soothing to small babies. I bought this giraffe again after the one my daughter had for a few years stopped playing music (something broke in the music box mechanism). However, I was disappointed to see that the metal handle for the music box has been replaced by a plastic turnkey which is not shown in the picture for the product (it still shows the previous style). I liked the metal handle because it could be pushed flush against the toy instead of the plastic turnkey that sticks out quite a bit (see my picture). I imagine it can be broken more easily that way, especially because it is now plastic. ... show more

We just to get these plush giraffes at the store, you can't find them anymore in stores, even carter's stores don't carry them anymore, is sort of our signature gift for a baby plush to when we give it to friends or family, beautifully crafted and the music is so relaxing for the babies
