    • This Was Actually Really Easy To Put Together - Even Without Instructions
Used the box image to put this bbq grill together; it took about 10 minutes - maybe 15. Toy is well-designed with pieces that snap together easily and legs that are even and bowed slightly to give grill additional stability. It came with all of the accessories shown. I chose not to put on some of the stickers and to not set up the coals yet - they'll make sounds if you touch a certain spot on them with the igniter tool. There's also a feature where you can add water to the coals and they'll emit "smoke." Pretty cool for little ones. The corn, broccoli, and steak piece are pretty small, but everything else is of a decent, playable size, including the grill pans and utensils, and the bbq's double grill plate has a square grid so none of the play food will fall through the grill plate - we have another grill that has rectangular-shaped areas on the grill plate and I actually pulled some of the grilling food out as it would fall through the grill plate...a pain and upset the kiddos. The steam stack is pretty cool on the lid. The one thing that I'm iffy on is in the inner lip of the lid, there's a place to hang some hooks that are included to put the cooking utensils on...this doesn't work for us as my grandson likes to close the lid on his food, then open the lid and say, "5 more minutes," then close the lid, then open it again and say,... - so the accessories are just hanging off of the two side trays. The media could not be loaded. This is a cute grilling playset from Bstoyder. It's definitely got some pros and cons, but overall is a nice playset. PROS: This set is cute when completed, has lots of parts for playing pretend at the grill, and my kiddo loves the light-up charcoal and smoke effects. It looks just like the grill my neighbours have, and he wanted to drag it over to them so he could cook together. So far it's kept him entertained and serving up fake food for about 45 mins at a time, which is a long time for him to play with one item. As a note: You have to add 10 ml of water to the unit for the fake smoke, they show it getting filled up using the ketchup bottle they provide, but I used a baby medicine syringe instead. I am not sure what 10mL looks like in the ketchup bottle as a measure. I also used distilled water. They don't specify, but since the water is getting turned to vapor, I am assuming distilled water is better for the longevity of the charcoal unit (since you don't want mineral build up left behind.) CONS: The instructions could be better, they are some black and white pictures that could be vague at times, and that leave certain things, like sticker placement, completely out of the details. I found I had an easier time just watching the 1:47min instruction video in the listing to get this put together, and to know where all stickers were supposed to go and how to orient things. The utensils look cute on the lid hooks, but the lid can't be closed with them on there. If your kiddo wants to be able to open and close the lid while pretending to cook, then you have to find a different place for the grey and white utensils. Unfortunately they don't fit well on the other hooks provided, and stick out at odd angles when resting on them. The top grill shelf in the grill also slants downward when you close the lid, so anything left "cooking" on the top grill slides off to the bottom grill when the lid closes. Which apparently is a deal breaker in my toddlers cooking emersion, and it gets him upset, because toddler. Lastly the cooking sounds are loud, and it even seems like they added what sounds like cricket or cicada noises to the cooking sound mix. When the lid is closed it starts to sound more like bearable cooking sounds. However when the lid is open, it's more of a very loud rushing sound, with some odd chirping sounds, and some popping and crackling noises. There is a high pitchiness to it, and combined with the volume it starts to become very prominent rather quickly when you are near it. One nit pick, not really a pro or con: the food is oddly scaled. The steak, corn and links of hotdog/sausage are super tiny comparted to the burger, hotdog with bun, chicken leg, and broccoli. It's like 5 of the items are at a completely different scale than the other 5. Over all this is a great set though. Really keeping my kiddo entertained, and that means he's not in my kitchen wanting to help cook with the real stuff. ... show more

    • Fun little BBQ set to put right next to the real one.
What I like about this set is that it's a little taller than some of the other ones I've seen and is the right height for my 2 1/2 year old. It's got a ton of accessories and places to hang them. I wish some of these sets would come with little built in storage for all of the food and accessories but this one comes close with a little area under the bbq that works well. Easy to put together. I didn't bother putting the lights and sound part together because in the past the noise was really annoying and the stream ran out quickly. All together a good purchase. ... show more

This little grill set has turned my grandson into a tiny little grill master when Papa is manning the big grill! He loves mimicking his Papa and this play set has all the fun stuff to allow him to do that!

Basically what you see is what you get, I didn't take note of any of the dimensions when ordering, but it's a little bit smaller than I expected. Although I guess for a three four or five year old it's about the right size. And any of it it's a cute little barbecue grill toy with all the accessories and condiments etc. I know it will be a hit with a little ones. ... show more

My nephew absolutely love this set. Great accessories and easy to build. It entertained him for hours. He loves using the grill to cook the entire family meals. His parents are really happy with the gift. There were a lot of parts but cone together fairly easy. Great toy.

This is a really fun play set. We put it outside in our treehouse. It has lots of play cooking utensils and play food. A grill with a lid that opens and closes and fake condiments. Fun for all ages
