So it took my husband and I 2 days to build but the instructions were amazing and everything was labeled, there is some gapping in the boards but nothing major. We ended up putting a regular chalk board on it because the other one was just a piece of vinyl and concerned us if the kids wrote on it to hard. After adding some finishing touches like a flag, flowers, bins for food, and a cash register we couldn’t be happier with it. My husband and I both went on the swings and it was so sturdy! Going to take a few days if not a week. Instructions were ok and detailed enough. You get the idea halfway into it but it takes a lot of time lining up the t washer with the p nut and S bolt to the 1890 board or whatever. Like a massive IKEA or Lego set nightmare. Once it’s done it’s a cool set. A little small. The swings should be farther apart. The monkey bars are only three so kind of silly. The slide is pretty thin. ... show more

All pieces were there and nothing was damaged. Instructions are terrible but it’s still pretty easy to put together. Took two adults less than a day to assemble. The wood is a little rough so be careful of splinters. The monkey bars are useless. There is only one set to get to the and then the way they are installed makes getting into the top impossible. We modified it to turn the monkey bars into a ladder. Would definitely recommend if children are young. Not really sized for older children. ... show more

This turned out to be a great play set. It is very sturdy, well made and instructions were accurate with a few exceptions. The warning I have is get ready to spend some time assembling. Lay out all of the wood and hardware, as it will save a ton of time when building. Have a helper get the hardware and the wood and have another helper aid with assembly. We were able to complete in about 8 hours using this method with 2 men having a lot of building experience. It just takes time. ... show more

This product is by far the most frustrating thing to put together because of manufacturing flaws the hole don’t line up it end up with a slight tilt. An we’ve had to make our own adjustments along the way in order to get it together. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend. Which is unfortunate because we were big fans of the kidkraft line.     • Good structure; don’t underestimate time on instructions

The cuts aren’t that precise but because we cheaped out and bought this model vs a $2000 pre-fab we had to fix a bunch of holes. But it will take 2 people of moderate height and strength. And don’t underestimate the time the instructions calculate it’ll take you; in fact add 30% if you don’t use power tools. We built ours for several hour sessions over several days. ... show more

    • A time commitment for parents, but worth it

This will probably cost you a case plus of beers to build. I would suggest a couple clamps if you don't have a second set of hands. I did this mostly alone with relitive ease, it just requires hours of dedicated time to complete with some entry level building skills.
