Had my old one (original) from the day I bought it and it finally broke on me. Was using tape to hold it together. Decided to just get a new one. These are pretty sturdy, and work great. It was easy for me to connect/program it to my car. There are 2 of them, a key ring and instructions.

I bought two of these. The color (red) looks exactly how it is pictured. Setup was easy. My suggestion is: put a bump on the 2nd button, kind of like braille. I often use my remote without taking my keys out if my pocket. The original remote looks identical but the buttons are more rounded, so it is easier to feel which one is which. Loved the price as I just got a new-used car & one of the key fobs did not work. Very easy to set up even for me as I am 79 years old. The only thing I did not realize is you can't change the batteries so I hope they last a while.

I purchased the key fobs back in April for my 2011 Nissan Sentra after reading all the glowing reviews and seeing the really good price. Setup was very easy and painless, took maybe around 5-10 minutes. Trunk button doesn’t work, but no big deal since I bought it mainly for the automatic door lock function. Everything went well up until a few days ago when the fob all of a sudden stopped working. I pressed all of the buttons including the panic button and nothing. The fob is dead. I tried the spare one, which works. I chatted with one of the customer reps from the seller’s website and they said the battery is probably dead. I went and bought a new battery, replaced it into the broken fob, and still didn’t work. I emailed them and asked if I could return this for a replacement only to be told no, sorry you’re past the warranty period so nothing we can do. FYI, I bought the fobs on April 19, product was shipped on April 20, and delivered on April 22. It died on July 22. Literally on the freaking day the warranty was over. I seriously had a wtf moment. The 2 fobs cost less than $15 but of course they have to tell me the exchange policy is strict. That’s some great customer service, very hands off. The least they can do is offer to give me a discount code so I can purchase another fob at a lower cost if not give me a courtesy replacement outright. I work in a customer-oriented business and this is no way to treat a customer. I will not be buying from them again. What a disappointment. ETA: I just wanted to add after getting a response back from Keyless Option's customer service, who apparently thought I do not understand what warranty period means. Yes I do understand, but what I don't understand is why your product seems to only be working for the first 90 day period, alluding your customers to think that the item they've purchased is in good, working condition; however, as soon as that warranty period ends, the item stops working? After reading some of the reviews here, I see I am not the only person experiencing the same problem, so clearly there are a handful of key fobs that are defective, but instead of looking into the matter further or attempting to retain the customers that you have, being the small business that you are, you have to choose the easy way out. ... show more
