I have very thick, medium brown hair with natural curl. I highly prefer my hair to be straight but it takes forever to do and it seems there's always an area where a dent remains (where I just cant seem to get close enough to the root to straighten). I saw this product advertised in a magazine and decided to try it. I have to say that I'm very impressed. I don't think it's helped to cut back on blow drying time but it has made my hair much more sleek and less frizzy. I let my hair air dry for 10-15 minutes then blow dry with a large, round brush. Then I have to use my flat iron. In the past I've had straight hair the first day but would start to get kinks the second day (from sleeping on it) that just wouldn't come out with another session of the flat iron. I'd resort to a pony tail. But with this product I wake up on day 2, and even day 3, with my hair still completely straight. This is the result I get during the non humid months. I have gotten compliments on how great my hair looks - even from my hairdresser. She said my hair looked and felt very healthy. In the summer I just can't get these same results. The type and texture of my hair is just not forgiving in humidity. I have spent hundreds of dollars on shampoos, conditioners, serums, etc to achieve great summer hair but to no avail. I will keep experimenting but in the meantime I will absolutely continue to use this product the other 8-9 months out of the year. My hair is naturally on the drier side so I am able to get by without washing it for 2-3 days at a time. Someone with finer hair may start to look greasy at the roots. ... show more

Fortunately I used this product for the first time right before 2 days straight of pouring rain ( lots of humidity) and I can definitely tell a difference with respect to frizz. While the product did not ELIMINATE frizz from my corse, thick , wavy and color treated hair it did demish it significantly - so much so that it is worthy IMO of a 5 star rating. I have had several in salon keratin treatments in the past that did eliminate the frizz for awhile, however the controversial chemical issues and subsequent increased hair shedding have given me pause for having any more of these type of treatments, so thus my search for a temporary at home product. I did use this product in conjunction with sleeping on a silk pillowcase ( also purchased from Amazon) , I feel the combo has contributed to my silky frizz less hair. I read a review indicating that this was an imposter product, I really do not know given the results I achieved - I doubt it. I have use many kerastase products and this seemed like the real deal and this seller has good ratings along with the Prime designation. Lastly, the product instructions note that the product can be "reactivated " by adding heat if needed sometime after the initial application and this method did work for me. ... show more
