  • The DPX304MBT is equipped with a 3-line LCD screen which lets you view the clock, source, and song/artist info all at the same time. You can select between English or Spanish text. It also features variable color display and button illumination. You can choose from one of 24 preset colors, have the unit scan through all 24 preset colors continuously, or customize your own color (RGB; 0-9)
  • The Kenwood Remote App (for Apple iOS 8.0+ and Android OS 4.4+) lets you wirelessly control the Kenwood receiver from your compatible Apple iOS device (via Bluetooth or USB) or Android device (via Bluetooth only). The Kenwood Remote App provides traditional touchscreen control, as well as directional and freeform gesture control from your compatible mobile device
  • DPX304MBT allows you to access Pandora & Spotify online music services through your USB-connected or Bluetooth-connected iPhone, or Bluetooth-connected Android smartphone. Your Apple iPhone can be connected to the DPX304MBT via USB or through Bluetooth. Your Android smartphone must be connected via Bluetooth. If I was trapped in a magic lamp to grant wishes, I would give this stereo to people wishing for Bluetooth in their car because it technically meets the requirement but is implemented in the most annoying and inconvenient way so they won't really enjoy it. It is impossible to prevent the head unit from opening a music app on YOUR PHONE seemingly at random and PLAYING whatever might come up. Starting your car up is not the same thing as wanting a podcast or audiobook playing and losing your place, but if you buy this that's exactly what will happen. This is not inherent to Bluetooth technology, some software dingus at Kenwood decided to make the unit request playback just from being connected, instead of waiting for the user like any reasonable speaker/headset.
