After reading the mixed reviews of ALL the fountains, I was pleased that there were no issues with this one. It arrived in good shape, all the pieces were included, the assembly was as easy as can be expected for something with several parts. I was surprised to learn that fountains MUST use distilled water. Mea culpa! Should have done the research ahead of time. This one goes through about 2 gallons a day, which is a lot of plastic jugs. There is some evaporation but mostly it splashes out. I wrote to the company to ask if Brita filtered water could be used--am still waiting for an answer. ## Have been using tap water since the original post. No problems with it. ... show more

We received this fountain on Friday and assembled it almost immediately. My husband and I had different ideas about the size we needed for our garden area and this one is too small for that, but it is perfect for our screened porch. The sound is incredible and is very well constructed! Having moved from our 5,000 gallon koi pond in recent months, we were both craving the relaxing sound of water and this fills the bill. It arrived in perfect condition and was extremely easy to assemble. My husband was totally impressed with the engineering technology surrounding the assembly.     • Great except for one thing...

The unit was well packed, arrived in good condition, was easy to unpack, and easy to set up. We love the look and sound. However, the hose to the top of the unit was kinked in the packaging and had to be unkinked using a heat gun and a lot of patience before assembly, or the water would not flow properly. The instructions were marginally helpful. But the worst problem is that it splashes about 4 gallons of water out of the fountain each day, meaning it has to be refilled every day or at a minimum every other day. This is true even though we only run it 12 hours a day (on a timer). If it was run full time it would lose twice this much water each day. Splashing comes from all tiers of the fountain. The splashing leaves a wet area around the base of the fountain about 4 to 5 feet in diameter. The fountain needs to be very carefully leveled in order to minimize the splashing to no more than 4 gallons every 12 hours. ... show more

So far, I love this fountain! Don’t have to fill it constantly like I did with my smaller fountain & I adore the nighttime lights! Put the lights on a smart plug which is working out beautifully. Hopefully that will extend the life of the lights.

The media could not be loaded. Very pretty. Low Quality. Had this only 2 years......1st one arrived cracked, noticed after putting water in. They sent 2nd one. Was told to trash 1st one if carrier did not pickup. Paint started coming off very early on, one of the lights in 1st set quit working 1st year.. Using 2nd fountain lights now. 1st fountain is the one cracking so bad. Paint coming off both. I paid WAY TOO MUCH for this fountain to be such low quality. American greed is the reason china sells junk and American businesses jack up the price...With paint coming off, light defective, and cracking can't justify paying more than $125.....I paid 3x that, and that is why they sent 2...Ya See? ... show more

Nice fountain… I’ve purchased the same one about 5 years ago and liked it so much I bought another. The new version has a few improvements which makes it very easy to clean the pump inlet! Nice!!!

The media could not be loaded. I LOVE my fountain. Very easy to put together. It does require to people to assemble. The only complaint I do have is that it is not as tough a material as I imagined. Be very careful to never knock over!
