So last Xmas we purchased two AirMoto's. I put both through various tests and they barely suffice as an auto tire air pump just to top off your car tires (if they do not shut down), much less to use in a real road side emergency. I just found and tried this Keen Tire inflator 21V Rechargeable. Right out of the box, it was much more rugged and simpler to use. I slid on the the 21V Li Ion battery and connected to my first car tire, instantly the screen lit up and read the tire pressure, 22 psi (my stored classic car) and I hit the start button. Within 3 min it auto shut off at the desired setting of 35 psig. I inflated all four tires within 10 minutes and the battery life indicator never dropped. There are two ways to recharge the 21V battery, 12v car adapter(included) or household 115v adapter (also included). This was a super nice find, and I will order more for our other two vehicles. Overall, The Keen Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor 21V is far superior to the AirMoto in my actual automobile tire use and tests. ... show more

This is a great product. I love everything about it! The case it came in, although it could be a little sturdier; all the accessories, and the pump itself! The only thing that I would like to see last a little longer is the battery. Even being fully charged on standby, it seems to run down quicker than it should. All things considered. Plug it in, and use your vehicles power, or the battery, when it’s charged, and it will do a wonderful job for you! Be careful though, as the hose will get extremely hot. ... show more

Battery came fully charged according to the lights on it. I was only able to add air to 2 tires that were low not flat before it died. Plugged in the charger cord & it said battery was fully charged. Could not get compressor to turn on so I charged the battery anyway & the next day it worked fine. I will give it a 2nd chance before I return it. The light does not work but I don't need the light. Plusses are the unit is light weight and easy to set up & use so I hope that the battery may have died because of its shelf life & just needed charging. ... show more

I read the reviews before I bought it, but I was still a little skeptical that it would work, but it works just fine. I charged it up overnight and used it on my wife’s Tahoe. She said one tire was low….it was three….but I put a total of 20 psi in the tires using this tool and it did it faster than I expected. I set the tool for 35psi, which was easy to do, and it turned off when it hit the threshold. When I took back into the house, I put it on the charger, and it was down to 25%….which I think is more than acceptable knowing how many psi it did for me. I would recommend this tool. I've had a few of those air compressors before but this one makes pumping up tires and other stuff like football very very simple and easy. you definitely get value for money . The most impressive thing is how quickly it pumps up the tire. And it takes up less space.

I had four passenger tires with air pressure at 27 ..set in error by the dealership..should’ve been 35 ..inflated all four tires and only used 1/5 th of the battery capacity..just fantastic ! Love it and would recommend to give it a try !!

I purchased this because I have one tire that seems to have a slow leak. I was a little disappointed when I received it because it seemed so light in weight. Boy was I wrong. This thing inflates so fast and simple to use. There is one thing though, it gets very hot where the hose comes out of the pump. It’s some thing I was not aware of and touched it. This is why the 4 star rating. It will burn you. But it works very well and fast. ... show more
