I searched through a number of websites and sellers to find a cover for my MacBook Air M1 2020 laptop. I wanted one that was woodgrain, but because I have a love for genuine wood I did not want anything that was going to be cheap looking. I went back and forth between covers and skins. After a month of searching I decided to buy this cover. Amazon had easy returns so if I hated it I could return it. Man I was NOT disappointed! This cover is truly beautiful in person. The print looks spot-on and the fit could not be better! As you can see by the photos the woodgrain truly is a realistic print and the color is pretty true to the advertised photos. The bottom cover has a soft rubber type feel and the top is a hard matte finish with a slight texture making this easy to grab and helps to prevent careless slips from the hands. The keyboard cover was cheap looking so I tossed that, but I was not looking for a keyboard cover anyway so no loss there. As you can see by the photos it is a nice tight slimline fit that just snaps on. It does not add weight nor bulk. There is no bothersome intrusion on either the top nor the bottom cover that would cover the screen nor rub up against your arms as you rest your hands on the keyboard. I saw some customer complaints about other products which stated the covers made it hard to open the MacBook up, but this cover has no such issue as it still opens up to the standard 135°. If I would make any change at all it would only be an aesthetic change of carrying the woodgrain print to the bottom cover for a full-bodied wood look. Functionality wise it hits all the marks. I never leave this detailed of a review but this is by far the best purchase I made on Amazon ever. I genuinely have no complaints about this product. I am getting no kickback for this product review. I paid full price for the product. (Oh the apple logo on the front is just the sticker I had when I purchased the computer. If you were looking for a cutout this cover does not have that. This was okay with me because cutouts just leave room for crumbs to get inside). I have not dropped my computer so I cannot speak to durability under those conditions. ... show more

Overall, the case looks nice. It is easy to snap on to the MacBook Air 2020. The bottom has vents (my model doesn't have vents, but it can't hurt it to have these on the case. The top seems pretty durable - at least to protect it in my backpack. It is a bit rough around the edges - not a huge deal and probably won't notice it. The glitter is nice - it is a smooth surface so it's not going to rub off and leave a mess. The biggest "issue" with this is the keyboard cover. Really not a deal breaker either, but it does have some Chinese lettering on it. It fits nicely, though and lines up with the new keyboard style. The additional symbols are just a bit strange and the letters seem huge compared to the original keyboard. Again, not a huge deal but something the company could keep in mind. ... show more

I got this case and keyboard cover for the M1 MacBook Air (2020) and was a little disappointed that the buttons on the keyboard cover for F4, F5 and F6 were not accurate and have not been updated. They have changed the buttons for the M1 chip version and so they are now the wrong buttons on the skin. It doesn’t really bother me though. Also, the position of the letters on the skin are not lined up with the letters on the keyboard. The design in it is really cute though! It does fall off though because it doesn’t stick in the buttons. It kind of just sits on top of it. But the case is really nice and i feel like my MacBook will be protected. It does seem like it can pop off pretty easily though, so I still bought a soft case to store it in just to be sure. I love the contrast of the design on the case to the gold. It gives it a very expensive look. I would get another case just to have some variety. The case popped into place pretty easily and it’s easy to take off as well. ... show more

I recently purchased the KECC Case Compatible with MacBook Air 13.6 inch (2024-2022 Release A3113 M3 A2681 M2 Chip) in Black Leather from Amazon, and I must express my disappointment with this product. First and foremost, the quality of the case was far below expectations. The material advertised as "Italian Leather" felt cheap and synthetic, lacking the premium feel that genuine leather should have. Additionally, the case did not feature the iconic Apple logo or a cutout for the logo, contrary to what was depicted in the product images. The solid black top cover gave the case a generic and unrefined appearance, which significantly detracted from the aesthetic appeal of my MacBook Air. The discrepancies between the product images and the actual item received are concerning. The images clearly show a case with a sleek design, including the Apple logo, which was a key factor in my purchasing decision. The absence of these features in the delivered product suggests misleading advertising. Furthermore, the fit of the case was not satisfactory. It did not align perfectly with the contours of the MacBook Air, making it difficult to attach and detach. This poor fit raises questions about the protection the case can offer, as a loose or ill-fitting case can compromise the safety of the device. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with this purchase. The KECC Case failed to meet the basic standards of quality and accuracy in product representation.
