I fell and got some significant scars on my face. One of them was below my eyebrow, and because I fell on a rough surface, the scar was really kind of bumpy. Using this product twice a day, it has helped smooth that scar and several others, like ones under my eye and nostril, because of the roller ball and moisturizing cream. Really take 30 seconds or so to work the cream in with the roller. I stopped using it after about two months but started again as the scars looked more prominent without daily use. I think for new scars it's recommended to use it for 12 weeks. I'm going to use it until the tube is empty. I think they would look much worse without this product. ... show more

I got hit in the face with a softball and had to get stitches above my eyebrow. I used this for about 10 months until the tube ran out, and the scar is flat and barely noticeable. Definitely helps to massage the scar with the metal rollerball, too.

The serum did what it said it was going to do... Sort of. I noticed that it did remove some scars, I was using it for acne scars. However, it made my skin really oily, which made it more acne prone. So I recommend easing into it before ramping it up, otherwise, if your skin is like mine, it might do the opposite of what you want. Also, I couldn't put it on before my make up because it made it lumpy and uneven, not sure if that's helpful but I found myself limited to using it at night, which is probably for the best anyway. I will keep using it, it just took some time to find positive results due to my skin's stubbornness. ... show more

    • OMG! THIS WORKS!!!
I have had a sun scar on my cheek for years that I finally decided to try and get rid of. I started using this 3 months ago and I have to say that the scar on my cheek is 90% gone. I used this faithfully morning and evening. Never had any skin irritation or other problems at all. The roller ball is great for rubbing it into the scar. And, the tube lasts a while. Love how you just squeeze out a wee bit. NOW....I also used Caudalie's Vinoperfect Radiance Serum (skin lightener) with this too. I'd first put on the D-scar. Let it dry. Then rubbed in the Caudalie's serum. Not only did the scar slowly go away, the scar that remained lightened up!! On days I wear makeup, I only put on the D-scar cream and let it dry before applying my base makeup. I've had great results with this and plan to keep using it until the scar is all gone. BTW, the scar was high. It slowly disappeared in circumference rather than height for some reason. And, a few times a week I also exfoliate gently to help remove dead skin cells also that are being removed by the D-scar too. ... show more

I would say this one really expensive. But it works really well. My daughter raised her face and showed me a big acne that had lasted for a long time without leaving a scar. Buy it

The first 2 weeks the results were amazing, really started working on my dark acne scars BUT after about 2 weeks the progress slowed down and now I feel like it's just another cream I put on that does nothing. Have not seen any real results after that first 2 weeks. I really wanted to love this product and given the price does nothing more than a much cheaper Mederma. I will finish out the rest of the tube but will not be purchasing another one. ... show more

I've been using this everyday twice a day as instructed. I'm using the D Scar on my face for acne scars and on a spot on my leg where I had a small growth removed. I've only had this for a week so far but I must say I love how it really hides the scars on my face which are very light and not very bad. You can wear it under make up and it doesn't flake off or cause irritation. I hope it works and see a noticable change in the scars in 8 weeks. I love Kate Somerville products they really do work so I was excited to try this. It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way and the tube should last a few months. The concept of the rollerball seems promising and supposedly works on new and old scars. I have an old scar on my cheek that i've not been able to get rid of so I hope this at least helps. ... show more

    • I Wanted It to Work
I saw an influencer on YouTube use this product and rave about the results. When I used it, the results were somewhat noticeable, but not what I expected. I would pay any amount of money to have a cream that helped diminish the darkness of my scars. But this cream wasn’t it.
