Was originally considering buying a moped, just for local travel to get to and from work. Figured I'd try one of these instead. Assembled the bike pretty easily, added a few items (mirrors, phone holder, saddle bag, etc), added it to my insurance and took it out for a spin. Wanted to get an idea of what full power felt like, switched it up to all electric, and hit the throttle. This thing wants to RUN. I'm by no means a little guy, 6'1 and 250 pounds, and it got up to 25 MPH in no time. Think I was giggling like a schoolgirl the whole time going a few miles around the neighborhood. Lots of fun to ride. Think my only criticism would be the weight, it's a heavy bike. And that's not bad-mouthing the manufacturer, nature of the bike. Heavy frame, heavy battery, etc. Nothing that I can't handle, still very manageable. Folding it's a little awkward too, but again that's just how they are, but do be aware it's not just "fold it up and toss it in the back seat" easy. We'll see how it is a few months from now, but all in all I'm very happy with this purchase. Edit - One thing I didn't consider before buying and wish I knew beforehand.. insurance. Almost nobody will insure this thing due to the throttle and size of the battery, most won't insure past 750W. Still having fun with the bike, but that's potentially a serious issue. ... show more

The bike (in theory) is a great bike and… if it were fully functional the way they describe and the way it’s built, then there would be no issue. Not the case! 1. Issue with rear brakes since day 1 and it took 35 days for them to do ANYTHING (only after I got AMAZON A to Z claims involved) and then their solution was for them to send me replacement rear brakes. So, now I need to pay a bike shop to install the rear brakes (another $125). 2. My LCD Screen / operational buttons were broken/stolen off my bike and so I emailed them again (dreading it and knowing it was going to push my limits). I won’t go into everything that has transpired over the now 29 days I’ve been trying to get an LCD Screen from them. (During which time, the bike is inoperable, except for using as a regular pedal bike which isn’t very plausible considering the bike weighs 82lbs! They finally agreed to send me one (only after quoting me $140 - an exorbitant amount… most on Amazon are between $25-$50 TOPS!) but the tracking number has said “label created” for 11 days now!!! And now they refuse to respond to any emails at all. DO NOT ORDER FROM KARCLE!!! ... show more
