We hung these lights on our fence for the holidays. They are not very bright - you could really only see them when you got close to the house. The media could not be loaded. I love these lights. I don’t recommend them for a Christmas tree but for ambient lighting in your room, they’re perfect! I wanted them because my bed side lamp doesn’t light my room quite bright enough so I wanted something a little extra and these did the trick perfectly. One thing I don’t like about them is that the solid light is the only mode that will stay on consistently. There are 8 different modes. Some blink, some fade, some twinkle. All very cute, however, if you set it to a different mode(fade or twinkle for example) it will not stay on that mode, It will eventually start flipping through all the different modes. But if you leave it set simply to just be on solid, they will stay. Other than that they’re great and they are absolutely perfect for what I wanted to use them for!! ... show more

These have survived snow and rain, and continue to work very well (even on days when we've had low-light conditions). I have an issue with the mode setting not staying where I want it, so they twinkle randomly at will. But otherwise, they've been great.

I place this light on the evergreen in front of our house they are great for the price I paid. They are not like normal light. They are tiny lights. When they are on they are not extremely bright if you only have a few light pack. It did its job, I live in a very misty place the sun only come out of the clouds probably for 2 hours around the winter. I got to say the light last a few hours with little sun collection. The setting are fantastic specially if you have excited children who love the flickering of the lights. Because with epilepsy, they do have some setting that are super fast. They are great. I ordered 6 boxes of lights. with in a week 2 boxes worth stopped working altogether. I looked at one section of a string tonight and it looks like the wire broke on the base of the LED holder. I'm guessing that will probably be the case with the other strings. When they worked they looked good, but for the amount of money spent on these, the quality sucks. And for being outdoor rated the colored part of the lights had water in them from the last rain storm. ... show more

Hands down the BEST Christmas lights! They worked flawlessly in both shady and sunny spots, and the illuminated effect is simply stunning.
