  • Great product but they shorted me it's not a full pound it's only 11.2 Oz
Use the stuff before works great amazing on the face don't let it dry you're not actually supposed to letting it dry will strip all moisture from your face because of clay it absorbs moisture which in turn makes your body produce even more oil you're not supposed to let any mask dry on your face Esports it lightly with warm water periodically during the 10 minutes but the problem I had and the reason why I gave it four out of five stars as I didn't get a full pound it felt light out when I received it so I wait it instead of being a full pound it is 11.2 Oz still going to use it and buy more it's just you're paying for a full pound you should be able to get a full pound ... show more

  • What an awesome deal!
What an amazing deal on kaolin clay! I use this for soap, facial masks, and for the most part, my natural loose facial powders. It's not drying at all when used as a mask, and so far so good with the powder. Here's my recipe: I use this kaolin powder and arrowroot powder, for the base. I then add cocoa powder and tumeric, until the color is right for my skin tone (a very small amount!). I have pink tone skin, so I add a pinch of pink rose clay. My skin has some redness in the summer (from the sun!) So I add a pinch of french green clay in the summer to reduce redness(the green color reduces the redness). I made this powder for a friend that has yellow undertones, instead of pink undertones like me, so I replaced the pink rose clay with french yellow clay. I've yet to play around with pigments because I'd like to keep this formula as natural as possible. I have combination skin, more oily in the summer. This powder keeps my skin matte. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with extremely dry, irritated skin, but I will say the dry spots on my face have not been irritated by the powders drying ingredients. I use a hyaluronic acid serum underneath this powder to make a barrier between my skin and the powder. The hyaluronic acid serum not only keeps my skin looking plump and moisturized, but also allows this powder to go on smoothly, and stay put! ... show more

  • Great quality product to help you establish and maintain all your beauty needs.
Great product! Product is just as described! The clay came intact and packaged very neatly. I used it for the first time today. I just added a little bit of water until I found the consistency I liked and applied it to my face. I left it on for about 10 minutes and then washed it off. It was so easy to spread which made it very easy to use. There wasn't really a scent to it so I added some of my essential oils which was nice to be able to pick my own scent. My skin looks great and it feels super refreshing! I have problems with dry skin around my nose and this mask has made my skin feel very hydrated. This product is a really great value for the quality and amount received! ... show more

  • Buy for cosmetic purposes maybe; definitely not for gardening
Hear me out: kaolin clay is used as a spray on garden plants to protect against insects. It's a pretty common practice among those of us that unfortunately live in terrible places filled with plant-destroying bugs. The little monsters, theoretically, then walk across the plants without recognizing them as potential food sources--and this seems fair. Personally, I've never seen a cheesecake dipped in clay that I'd consider dessert either. So here I am, in the middle of a global pandemic and economic uncertainty, and upon returning to take care of my elderly father, I decide a garden is what we need to keep us occupied and cheery. Being located in a terrible, terrible place, the entire ecosystem quickly convened to destroy this little happiness. But I'm not one to actually listen to reason, so I dug my heels in. Harvester ants carried off my flower seeds. Deer ate my bulbs. Grasshoppers ate 3,000 morning glory seeds and 1/4 pound of sunflower seedlings. As the heat hit 108F and the summer drought began, I poured more and more labor into saving my garden--and turning it into an apparent buffet. And then they all came for my garden. They resisted all treatments: garlic, insecticidal soaps, assorted hot pepper sprays, even deer repellent (I mean, at a certain point, you just start tossing everything you have at it). Tomato plants--famously grasshopper-resistant--were eaten at the stem within hours. I had procrastinated on trying the kaolin clay spray method for one reason: the agricultural brand is a monopoly and it was largely sold out, leaving me with the option of buying 25 pounds for $50 plus buying a sprayer I'd never need for anything else. But when faced with no other trick up my sleeve and desperate to prove to my father that we can indeed, even in these turbulent times, prevail against nature, I went for it--deciding that a pound of this stuff was probably good enough and likely pure. For such a small remaining garden, I certainly didn't need 25 pounds of it, so I thought this was a better option. It was not. Not only did they eat through the clay, a single spray of it desiccated two of my most beautiful and healthy tomatoes in a matter of hours. The leaves just dried up. As I saw this happen, I immediately washed its leaves off, to no avail. So is this product pure or cut with another additive that increases that famous skin-tightening (and leaf-killing) feel? I don't know, honestly. But if you happen to be looking for a smaller amount of kaolin clay for gardening in a similar situation to mine, I might recommend that you just go for the massive bag of WP Surround. You might wind up with tomatoes that cost you a pretty penny in the end, but maybe you'll wind up with tomatoes. Unlike me, who wound up with just a garden of sweat and sassy clay-mouthed grasshoppers. ... show more

  • Jesus used clay! Love this stuff!
New to the clay mask, and all the amazing benefits to using clay. Love it, this one is great. I can't help it, but I'm always reminded of the biblical story Genesis 2:7, where Adam was created from the dust (clay) of the ground. And also John 9:6 where Jesus used clay, and healed a blind man and he could see. Now, I'm not Jesus. Not even close. I'm not saying I'm going to heal the blind, or make a man. I'm not even close to saying that. What my point it, if Jesus used clay, then I need no more advertisement. Obviously I'm aware of the drastic difference between me, and this clay, to Jesus and those days. I'm just pointing out how awesome clay actually is. Jesus knows what's up, so I'm following him. He's never mislead me, and his book promised he never will. God bless! ... show more
