First some thoughts to maintain a realistic perspective. I have to mention that this was a really good deal for prime members on prime day. So many people have overlooked the free shipping. I checked out some of the China direct websites and found a comparable unit for near the price I paid. However that machine came with a $442 shipping charge. So in reality just what I saved on shipping will pay for a prime membership for at least 3 years. All of my 4 packages arrived on the same day. A Sunday no less. The Fed Ex man was very pleased to see me coming down my driveway with my monster hand truck. Fed Ex did a good job as there was very little damage. Just a rare scrape mark in the paint. Some shipping data for those who like to be prepared. box 1 72" x 15" x 7" 76.1 LBS box 2 62" x 20" x 8" 72.7 LBS box 3 18" x 14" x 7" 82.8 LBS box 4 16" x 14" x 7" 72.3 LBS total weight 303.7 LBS or 137.76 KG.....all data from Fed EX Considering the weight, piece count, and distance traveled the packaging is a marvel of engineering. Assembly is straight forward. I found no shortages or manufacturing defects. So many other people have done a good job describing the assembly process I will not repeat them. However, as being a multifunction machine the cable paths are quite convoluted. When I look at them I see cable metal fatigue as the most likely cause of machine failure in the future. Just like the machines at the health club I used to attend. On this machine though, by the nature of having so many different options in one machine, as soon as one cable breaks the machine could be completely out of service. I will be asking the seller if a spare set is available. Others have commented on the fact the machine does not accommodate taller people. I must agree with these statements. I find it rather small even when adjusted to its widest limits. And it is not just height that makes it seem small, it is shoulder width and forearm length that causes issues. For example the butterfly vertical axis separation is a full 8 inches more narrow than the width of my shoulder orbits making the motion seem unnatural. I am not bashful when it comes to metal working so I do not see this a major problem. I already have solutions in mind. I know that trying to build one from scratch I could not have even purchased the raw hardware for what I paid, let alone had it shipped to me. For many people that don't have my long monkey arms this machine will likely be a good solution. Kudos to the seller for the notifications and PDF availability. This is Lisa's husband writing the review. I'm 5'7 and have been lifting weights for many years. Very well built machine, perfect delivery of all 4 boxes. No missing parts. Instructions were great but the video helps when routing the cables. Took me 4 hours to, assemble but I went slow and greased bushings etc... It's a lot of work to assemble but not difficult. I used to own a high quality Impex machine so I have some experience, this machine is great for the price. The leg curls are great, but the leg press is hard to use because there's not enough room to get it started easily. I may see about welding a modification to it that would help to get it started. UPDATE: You can adjust the leg press forward which helps make it easier to use. Not a fan of the preacher curl ergonomics. It works but the angle feels off, but I have not experimented enough yet so maybe it will be okay. You can stand and do curls from front of the machine easily. It has a very small footprint for what it is which is great for tight spaces. Everything else is great. Highly recommend this machine! ... show more

My husband and I bought this for our home gym. It is very sturdy and well made. I have been using it for several months and I have zero complaints. This has helped my routine so much. There are so many exercises you can do and not all of them are even listed. The leg press is a bit easy even for me being a 125 pound woman, but doing single leg presses can be more challenging. Instructions were clear. It seems as though a million pieces, so take a couple of days to put it together and take breaks. The greatest challenge is patience. Only one person needed to put together. With the price I did not expect such quality. Everything works smoothly, actually better than my expensive equipment. The exercising chart is an item that one should keep and refer to as needed.
