Nice This a glockenspiel. Keys are metal, base is wooden. "Professional" is an exaggeration, but it is nicer than a toy glockenspiel. There is no case. I appreciate that is has both white and black (sharps) keys like a piano. This will be enjoyed.

I don't know what a full sized xylophone is supposed to look like, but I'll say that I was surprised this was only 16.5 inches across (didn't read the full details). However, I'll say that it sounds amazing and has a nice feel/touch to it. I'm looking forward to exploring with it.

    • Well made and my husband seems a little addicted lol
My husband is into silly instruments (think penny whistle) and loves this thing. It lives under our coffee table and he takes it out to fiddle with it daily. He’s planning to learn the Harry Potter theme on it.
