I was a bit skeptical of trying this, especially for the price point. I have been dealing with what I believe to be scalp psoriasis over the past couple months, and it's been a struggle. when I saw this product shared on social media, it sounded great and I wanted to try it. so I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a go. the first thing that struck me was the consistency. it's very thick, almost paste like. it has a kind of minty scent to it, and I liked it. the second I started using it on my scalp, I felt as if my scalp was instantly soothed, and like my hair was cleaner than it's been since dealing with the psoriasis. I purchased this shampoo off of Amazon and I am so excited it smells amazing. It left my hair, feeling super soft and moisturized without it feeling greasy or oily or anything like that. I have naturally curly hair and this made my hair easy and manage while brushing through my curls as I washed it, it also left a beautiful scent after washing my hair with this shampoo. I highly recommend it and I’m so happy for this purchase. This is really an amazing shampoo it cleanses and calms your scalp exactly how they stated this is a dangerous shampoo with coconut oil and algae extract and it has so many great ingredients inside of this shampoo. My boyfriend and I tried the product and we both love it! Since using the product I’ve had a relief from the itching and less redness in the scalp, the appearance of the dandruff itself is also lesser. My boyfriend’s opinion of the dandruff shampoo is it smells good, cleans good, and it works. We used the dandruff shampoo 2-3 times a week as directed on the bottle. It is a very thick shampoo, we both needed to use about twice the amount of normal shampoo to throughly lather our hair, but it does clean well and work to combat dandruff, just be sure to follow it with a conditioner to not dry out your hair! ... show more

I have been LOVING this shampoo and scalp treatment. Both my husband and I have been using these products for 3-4 weeks now and they do a great job at treating your scalp without completely drying you out. My husband mostly needs to use dandruff shampoos and with other brands his scalp gets way too dry. He specifically likes how Jupiter’s products get the job done and leaves moisture in the hair. I've had terrible dandruff and dry hair for years, so I pay the extra for hair salon brand shampoos, use tea tree oil, and refrain from washing my hair every couple of days to make sure that it stays in check. My hair isn't thin, but I dont have course or overly thick hair either. I saw the good reviews for this so I ordered it to see how well it held up. The first time I used it, my hair just felt gross. Like heavy and oily. I don't use a lot of shampoo product when I do wash my hair so I was confused. Thought maybe it's just the thick consistency of it or something even though i made sure to work the shampoo into a lather before putting on my hair. Rinsed it out and even after blow drying my hair I noticed that my hair was indeed oily and frizzy. Not shiny at all. Just Oily--Like I never washed my hair, and by the end of the day it definitely looks and feels worse. The second picture is my hair right after I washed with just this shampoo and blow dried it. Used it again a couple of days later, and I used even LESS and made sure that got it to a lather(as much as I could for the little amount I had lol) before putting it on my hair and took even more time to make sure it was completely rinsed it out. Same thing. I even checked to make sure it was shampoo and I didn't get sent conditioner accidentally. Nope, it's shampoo. I've tried just using this on my ends, tried using even LESS of it--even tried using hot water vs cold water to see if by chance its just something else--and still the same story--OILY hair. It feels like there's a heavy film on it. I have not added any new hair products to my regular routine in the few weeks that I've had this shampoo btw. I then washed with the shampoo I normally buy, even tried my husband's "cheap" drugstore shampoo, and my hair came out clean and not oily both times so I know it's whatever this product is. It also made my scalp feel annoyingly itchy the following day after washing with it when I haven't had that issue with other shampoos. I'm glad it's worked for some people, but now I have a bottle of shampoo that I've maybe used a 10th of sitting there going to waste. ... show more

Itchy scalp driving you mad? I feel your pain. My scalp is very sensitive and gets itchy and irritated easily too.
