  • Instructions for Use: 1Connect the red clip to the positive terminal (+) of the car, insert the battery into the adapter and ensure it is securely locked, then connect the black clip to the negative terminal of the car. 2Turn the key or use the start button to start the car, with the ignition time not exceeding 2 seconds. 3If the car fails to start, do not immediately attempt to restart. Wait a few minutes to allow the tool battery to charge the car battery, and then try again. 4Once the car starts, immediately remove the tool battery.
  • Important Notes: 1Please keep the cars ignition time between 1-2 seconds; otherwise, long time excessive current may risk damaging the tool battery. 2Batteries with larger capacities can provide greater starting currents, enabling the starting of cars with larger displacements. 3It is not recommended for starting high-displacement diesel engines, as the tool battery may not be able to handle the extremely high currents required for starting. 4This jump cable does not convert or reduce voltage. It simply provides an additional option for starting the car in emergency situations.

Long gone are the days of waiting for the perfect person to ask to give you a jump or waiting for a car to move so someone can get in beside you. I keep a battery and this jumper with my spare tire and it’s always ready when I need it to be. Just be sure to check your battery every so often to be sure it’s charged, the battery may fail you but this jumper will not. Works well. But just be knowledgeable on the limits of your batteries as dewalt batteries aren't cheap. I tried to jump start a 2.0 lite diesel truck with a dead battery and it fried my dewalt battery turning it to basically a paper weight. Otherwise no issues

It burnt up a brand new $85 Dewalt battery. It did turn the starter for about 10 sec. then it smoked the battery. There is no voltage reducing device in this jumper, thus allowing 20 volts directly out of cables, nothing to protect the battery. It cables were to touch there maybe an instant explosion, especially if you are using an lithium battery the smoke would be very toxic. I would not recommend this device to anyone. ... show more

This adapter lets you use Dewalt 20/60V battery packs as a battery jump starter pack. It does indeed work but please only use it in a true emergency as it does not offer much protection for your Dewalt battery and it is very easy to burn it out. I wouldn't suggest you use it as an every day jumper. There are other dedicated options for that that are much safer ... show more

I got this thinking how convenient it would be since we already have dealt tools and batteries. I gave them to my son as he is always working on vehicles. He is skeptical about using them because of the difference in volts between the two. He has not used them yet. He wants to do a little more research beforehand. I gave four stars because I can't really give an accurate review as we have not used it yet, and I didn't want to give it a bad review either without knowing yet. I live on a farm and have a fair amount of equipment that can have a potentially dead battery. Years ago I invested in a self contained battery jumper pack . It seemed like a great idea until after it sat unused for at least six months and I needed it and the battery in the pack was dead. I just don’t have a need to jump a battery that often but when I do, it is usually something that at the time is a real need. I love that this unit uses DeWalt battery. I have a number of DeWalt tools and a bunch of batteries which I keep charged. I always have at least a few fully charged. I haven’t had a requirement to use this jumper but assuming it works I feel confident that it will meet my needs. ... show more
