Paint quality is fine. I’m not a painter but it seems like a little more liquid is useful to not run out of paint so fast. The kit is pretty good quality, the brushes work well and the surface texture is pretty canvas-y. This was much better than I expected! They are two complete and seperate paintings, reach with its own set of paints. The paints for each picture are separately sealed in their own plastic bag to keep them fresh. The picture is clearly printed on a sturdy piece of prepared canvas. Since the canvas was tightly rolled and wouldn't lay flat, I ironed it on a low setting and it flattened out with no problem. The paints are thick; almost too thick and I had to thin a bit of them down to get some small areas and help the paint cover the canvas better. The paint dries with shine to it. So far, there is plenty of paint. The brushes are adequate but the fine detail brush has a couple long hairs that need to be trimmed. The reference picture on paper isn't as clear with the numbers as the print on the canvas, but it's still good to have and I'm glad it was included. I got this for my preteen daughter and she's very happy with it. ... show more

This set comes with decent quality paint, very large canvases, and decent paint brushes. a lot of the different numbered spaces are TINY so this is definitely a challenge, but if you're up for a challenge you'll enjoy it. Ok- Let's start with what's in the box: you get 2 paint by number canvases, a short instruction sheet, and a small magnifying glass. Inside of EACH canvas, you will get a paint by number guide to follow, and a sticker of what the finished painting will (should? Lol) look like. You will also get (inside of EACH canvas) paints, a set of brushes, and a guide sheet. I took pics of everything in ONE canvas in the set for you above. (I did not take the other one completely out because I am worried that I will mix up which paints go with which pics ). The canvases are also very large. See how they are just about as wide as my coffee table? Well, unwrapped, they also take up half the length. I highly suggest buying a canvas board to to use for these paintings, which should also help to flatten it out. Notice that inside of the brushes packs are some screws and metal plates in with the brushes? Are they perhaps to put the canvas on a wooden frame? I don't know as I'm not an artist- hence the paint by numbers! Overall, I really cannot believe how much comes in this Adult Paint By Number Set. I am also surprised by the size and sheer detail for these paintings. I tried to get 2 pics of the painting guide for you, too. I see why the magnifying glass is required. I have multifocals and still need the magnifier for some numbers! I'm not gonna lie- I'm a bit intimidated by this set as I haven't done a paint by number since I was 10, which was decades ago. I am going to start out with something smaller (and perhaps a bit less detailed) first and then move to this... But I am so excited to do these 2 paintings! For what you get in the box, the asking price, and given how much entertainment and relaxation you'll get from such art projects, this Adult Paint By Number Set is a solid 5 stars. ... show more
