Nice product if the would stick. I added glue. I like but I would suggest the manufacturer get a better glue. I do like the Velcro to be able to replace batteries. Remember boats bounce around on the water so they to get these to stay where you put them.

I use these in my fountains, and they just float. Right now, they are in spooky Halloween mode. They are very well constructed and really waterproof. The different colors and patterns are fun, and the remote works well. It appears that the remote is the only way to turn them on and off. I can't attest to the adhesive, but the adhesive hook-and-loop patches look very sturdy and reliable. UPDATE: I found one of the lights unresponsive to the remote and just stuck in some red fibrillation. I thought it was broken, but when the other one did the same thing, I realized that this is just the signal to replace the batteries. Put in new ones, works like a charm again. I left them on all night the other night, and they are still going strong with the fresh batteries. ... show more

We use these lights on the roof of the fly bridge on our boat. The roof is canvas, and the only lighting up there is from small lights mounted about 10" above the floor, so you can see where you're walking. After tying up to the dock, or anchoring, we need to be able to see the area to secure it, and these lights are ideal. We occasionally use the red bulbs when underway so as not to destroy night vision, and shift to white when we need more light. The blue is very nice looking while sitting at the dock. ... show more
