I bought this juicer hoping I could avoid splurging for the nama j2. I ended up returning it and just buying a nama. The pulp output gets clogged instantly when juicing celery. Then the hopper got jammed with beats. I did cut up the beets prior to juicing. I had to spend 10 minutes trying to cut out/unjam the beet. The pulp was still very moist indicating it was not extracting most of the juice. And there was a ton of pulp in my juices. After purchasing the nama, I can feel the difference in the build of the juicer. It also juices way faster and grinds seamlessly. I juice 2x a week for me and my husband and just could not overlook the hassle of this juicer. I used to have the aicok which is annoying because you have to do small amounts of produce at a time, but I would use the aicok over this one if I was on a budget. The media could not be loaded. It’s way louder than expected . My biggest complaint is the fact that it’s advertised via video on Amazon that you can put whole fruits and vegetables but, when you read the instruction book it says do NOT put whole fruit and vegetables cut them down to exact squares… this is false / misleading advertising! if you put whole fruits and vegetables in your juicer and do not follow the manual, then you are going against the warranty. therefore they don’t have to fix the problem when there is one… it’s very easy to clean. Looks nice . If you can only feed it, individual cut fruit then the size of the bucket is unnecessary . Very easy to put together. Time will tell if the quality is good. In my opinion the quality is not good because you still have to feed it individual fruit and the reason why I got such a item in the first place was because of the advertisement showing you could put whole fruit or fill the bucket. “ Page 6 manual slow juicer rule number 6 under operations instructions; prepare the fruits or vegetables and cut them into pieces max 5CM X 2 CM strips or 5CM X 5 CM cubes... “ Do not use juice continuously longer than 20 minutes.”so don’t expect to do a bunch of juice for your parties .. because you will be going against warranty and user agreement.     • This juicer hates pineapples

I bought this for the large opening and self feeding feature but when juicing pineapples it is useless. I cut the pineapple into chunks and after a minute the opening to expel the waste was clogged and most of the pineapples were turned to mush. The mush just kept getting pushed around and around instead of being fed into the strainer below. For the juice that did come out, there was much more pulp than my old slow masticating juicer. Pineapples is one of the fruits I juice the most so this is a big problem for me. I did try other fruits and vegetables such as apples, cucumbers, peaches, oranges, watermelon, kiwi, and carrots and those did work much better but again much more pulp had to be strained. Baby spinach didn’t do great but not as bad as pineapple. I’m upset and feel like this was a waste of my money and time because I had to keep stopping to clean the juicer. Eventually I switched back to my old one. Not worth the money and wish I could return it. ... show more

I really believed all the other reviews for this product but now I just don’t trust Amazon after getting this. It’s completely terrible, it stops every other second, EVERYTHING clogs it, no matter if you chop the pieces to recommend size. I literally put a piece of carrot the size of an inch in it and it stopped. Like no joking, then every time it stops you have to take it apart, the pulp gets smashed under the chopping mechanism and they don’t provide a tool to take it out, you have to dig your finger in it. I was just going to get the Nama juicer but read these reviews that it’s just as good. I really hope not cause this thing is terrible. Do not waste your time. ... show more

I ordered one a few days ago and it didn't work. I hope I'm not making a mistake buy ordering another one. I like the way this juicer works based off of reviews and videos online. That's why I am not going with another model and trying to get one that actually works, unfortunately the seller doesn't have an option to where I can get a replacement sent so I have to ship this one back wait 7 days for my refund and order again. I'm giving the benefit of doubt that this was just a faulty unit. If I get another faulty unit my review will change. If it comes in and works appropriately then I will fix my review. ... show more

Malfunction: it stopped juicing in the middle of me juicing. I wasn’t able to disassemble to see what was going on. I had to pull out residual by digging fruit out, I was unable to clean because I couldn’t open.

After seeing my daughter use her juicer I decided I needed one for myself. I did a ton of research and chose this one for several reasons. Good reviews, Quality build, Design, Quiet Operation, and Price. I have had it for about a month now and used it multiple times. The juice is delicious. I wish it didn’t produce so much waste, but it will make for good material in my compost. The waste it produces is quite dry, so it is getting as much liquid/juice from the fruits and veggies as possible. I expected it to be much louder than it is. Cleaning it is not difficult, it comes apart to get all the nooks and crannies. All in all this juicer is a great value for the money and is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. ... show more
