Not bad for 50 dollars I wouldn’t advise putting big pieces or whole fruits and vegetables in this juicer definitely cut them into smaller pieces before you juice it but other than that it gets the job done

    • UPDATED REVIEW Not easy to clean and to open after use
Updated review I contacted the manufacturer and they responded quickly requesting pictures and more detailed information (the juicer got permanently stuck with fruit & veggies inside and I had to throw it out) Upon reviewing all the information and pictures, the company sent me a new juicer. I tried it yesterday and it works perfectly fine. I apparently got a faulty one previously. Their customer service is outstanding . I am very pleased with their response and with my new juicer. It works perfectly fine now. ORIGINAL REVIEW I got this masticating juicer for 2 months. It hasn’t been easy to use. I had all sorts of juicers for the past 30 years and I’m very familiar with how to use them, how to clean, what veggies and fruits to use. This juicer packs a lot of the discarded stuff between the blade and the motor. It also leaves lots of leafy greens stuck to the walls since the blade can’t reach and the pusher item does not get to them, parts of fruit don’t go all the way through the blades either. The pulp comes out pretty wet compared to others that come out dry. And the most difficult part is that it gets stuck on locked mode and I always need help to open it up. Overall this Juicer is really good and gets the job done. It fully squeezes out the juice from the fruits. Although, I wish it was a little faster. So far, the fruits have not gotten stuck while juicing. It small and compact and does not take too much space on our kitchen table. I hope this lasts for some time. Will update post. ... show more

I’ve been using this AOBOSI Cold Press Juicer everyday over the last few days. I have run all kinds of things through it in order to fully test it. Throughout this test the unit has functioned well, but is not without its faults. This juicer arrives nicely package as you would expect any small appliance to. After a quick wash of all the parts, it assembles easily and quickly. Operation couldn’t be easier. Flip a switch on the back and drop your food down the chute. Keeping in mind that the max diameter of the chute is 3-inches, the first of my complaints. I started with Carrots, which this machine handles very well when they are cut up. I tried feed one in whole, and the noises the machine made lead to me to not do it again. I was impressed with the juice output and how dry the pomace was. Next I moved to Celery. Like the carrots, I cut it down into smaller chunks. The juicer also did very well with the celery, but I feel like there was still bit of juice left in the pomace. Not quite as good as the carrots. Ginger and Turmeric followed. The machine treated these like the carrots. A good amount of juice and very dry pomace. Apples came next. I was a little disappointed by how this machine handles apples. The pomace was applesauce like. Lots of moisture in it. The juice was also very foamy and frothy.. I was able to take the apple pomace, put it in a wire sieve and squeeze out considerably more juice from it. The same thing happened with all the citrus fruits I tried. I peeled all of my citrus fruits first, then ran them through the juicer. The pomace was very wet. Estimate I only got about 60-70 percent of the juice that I would have hand I squeezed them using my hand press juicer. A few things I notice while juicing all of these things over the course of a few days. Running the machine for 10+ minutes results in a strong electrical smell and the unit gets very warm. The manual does state that this unit should not be run for more than 20 minutes at a time, with a 10 minute rest interval. I didn’t push that recommendation, but even at 10-minutes it seems to be pushing it. There is a small rubber valve where the pomace exits. I assume to keep the pomace from backing up into the unit. This area became clogged a few times after running a lot of material through, reducing the overall efficiency. Removing the rubber piece may help with clogs, but I’m not sure how that will affect functionality. When a clog did occur, I tried to use the reverse function, and the whole bowl unlock itself and the unit shut off. Disassembly and cleanup is relatively quick and easy. The most difficult part is the fibers the get stuck in the fine mesh screen which is not removable. The included scrub brush helps, but it still requires some work to get it all out In summary, the unit is well-made, convenient and works well for moderate amounts of juice. Don’t expect to run it for more than 15 minutes at a time. It does really well with dryer fruits and vegetables. Lacks efficiency with wetter fruits like citrus. Apples are borderline. Excess wasted juice in my opinion. At the current price point, the value is questionable. There are comparable units on the market that can run longer, and have larger feed chutes for comparable or less money. Price is at the higher range of its class, but it doesn’t have the features to command it in my opinion. ... show more
