I bought this charger because of the price and the Battery Tender I ordered from Amazon never shipped. It turned out to be a blessing since this Battery Charger works great with my New Lithium Battery. The Lithium Battery sat around for about a month since the Battery Tender never shipped and I was worried that it would be dead. I hooked up the Heagstat Battery Charger over night on the Lithium mode and installed it on my ZX6R that was sitting for a few years. The bike started up without a hiccup. I've had the Battery on there for 2 weeks now and the bike starts without any issued and the Heagstat is always hooked up on it to trickle charge. I ended up buying a second Heagstat because of the price and how well it worked for my other bike a Ducati 999. Can't beat the price and performance of this charger. Does what a battery tender should. It is simple to use and fairly intuitive operations too let you know the status of charging. Perhaps it was me, but it definitely wanted to have both positive/negative battery terminals on the battery connected, and not a grounded negative on the frame etc. The Volvo's battery has a positive terminal under the hood for jump starting, but the actual battery is under the floor of the rear end of car. I could only get it to charge when directly connected to the battery. ... show more

2 years and still working perfectly with the same subpar battery. Covid has cut down travel even more so having the battery constantly tended to is very convenient. Plug design is great as I forgot to disconnect clamps once while leaving and rather than yank the whole unit the quick disconnect popped loose and no damage was done. 1/19: Working perfectly so far. Installed on my mother's '13 Rav4 that doesn't get driven much, maybe once a week. With all the bells and whistles on the car, the battery will drain down in a few days, especially in this cold weather. This charger maintains as well as keeps the battery from freezing in frigid temperatures. Started up today perfectly, no more need to always have a jump pack handy. I bought this for a utv that is periodically used. The product was easy to connect, but doesn't seem to completely do the job. Not sure it it's user error or what. The charger does indeed keep my battery from being 100% dead, but does not keep it charged enough to allow my utv to crank. Even after being on this charger for an extended period, I end up still needing to boost off my utv with another vehicle. I would have returned if my return window hadn't ended. ... show more
