  • Priced Just Right and works great!!
Bought this for at home charging of my EV. Literally it’s like two screws in the wall to install. We had to call tech support to connect it to wifi as the app kept crashing during install but other then that minor hiccup it works great. I’ve had it 2 months and have had zero issues. I love the longer cord and the wire easily fits under the garage door. It’s sturdy and doesn’t get damaged by it closing on it when car is charged outside the house. The app is easy to use and set timer and charging times. The cord is not easily hung neatly so after a week of trying to roll it nicely I just do two big loops and call it a day! I’m very happy with this charger and recommend it!! ... show more

  • Terrible product and customer support. Do not buy!!!
Would not recommend this product. First, the charger works well to charge the car. It was easy to install. Why I rate this product a 1 star and do not to buy. 1) After a few months, I switch my internet provider, there was a significant cost savings and also received a new router. After switching, Enel couldn't make a connection to my router. I lost the ability of the smart functions to the JuiceNet. The main reason to purchase a smart charger was for all the notifications on the app to remind you to connect your car to a charger and usage reports available if you want to track cost. Spent 3 months with customer support to try and fix the problem, I had to go back to the old internet provider to get the JuiceNet connected. 2) Recently, Enel forced everyone to use a new app "Enel X Way" to manage their JuiceBox charger. For 3 weeks I tried to get Enel to help migrate from the old app to the new app. The app started to work after 3 weeks and many calls to customer support. The new app is terrible. I lost all my history for the charging sessions. The app is harder to use than the old app. The old app would record the amount of time charging, now you only get the time you plug in/ plug out. I have had the app log me out and then couldn't log back in. I found out that when it logged me out, then trying to login again failed, I noticed it switched from a North America location to a Europe location, causing the failure, just terrible. Also, in settings when you setup your preferences it doesn't work as advertised. ... show more

  • Great Level 2 Charger
This charger is perfect for my Nissan Leaf. I bought a "pre-owned" 2015 Leaf a couple of months ago. It came with the usual "trickle charger" which takes a long time to charge. The best chargers are called "Level 2" and charge much faster. However, they do require a fairly hefty 240 volt circuit. I put in a 240 volt 40 amp circuit for my JuiceBox 32 and it delivers more than enough power to give the Leaf all the charge it can take. The JuiceBox has a handy app (iOs and Android) that lets you monitor, start stop, schedule the charge and more. If you just want to charge right away the app is not needed and you just plug it in to the car charge port and when the battery is fully charged, the JB shuts off. Just remove the charge cord, stow it and you are done. FWIW, I chose the JuiceBox because it was the highest rated in my searches for Level 2 chargers. ... show more

  • Easy to set up and manage
We tried to use the chargepoint home but the plug was too short and had the wire coming at the wrong direction (up) for the outlet we had. Compared to setting that one up this was easy. I also like that this one can be locked in place but easily dismounted if you are going away or are concerned about it getting hit. Shortly after installing this we needed a dumpster put in the driveway and it to me less than a minute to disconnect and safely store this. As far as charging power goes it is quick and easy. Charges up my kona ev as fast as I would expect. The only downside for me is the indicator leds are hard dlto discern in the sunlight. The white (everything is ok) has a tint of purple (not connected to the internet). Also just to be clear it works offline fine you just can't track it in the app. ... show more

  • Works reasonably well, but a bit pricey for what you get
I needed a level 2 charger for my new plug-in hybrid electric car. Normally I would have purchased a far less expensive product, but the State (NJ) offered a $250 rebate for this model due to its smart-charge features. The product has reasonable quality and the locking mechanism to deter theft of the charger is a nice feature, as is the 25' cord. The instructions are worthless and functionality of the application is a little clunky (which is why I removed one star). As I install time-of-day electric discount billing, the Smart feature will be worthwhile (e.g. tell the charger to start charging at 1 minute past midnight to take advantage of the lower rates). ... show more

  • Great 220 amp charger and the app is easy to use.
I used a professional electrician to wire up the 220 outlet in the garage. From there it was a matter of plug n play. The app was fairly easy to set up, just a couple hiccups with the Wi-Fi stuff. Nothing major. So far so good on charging and no other issues. Great product and love the quickness of getting a charge to my car over the 110 outlet. Night and day difference. ... show more
