I bought these for watching deer at night in my yard and field. They worked great out of the box with absolutely no issues. I can see deer easily at 60 yards at night, and even 70 yards, maybe more. I have taken pictures and video's with these as well. They have a really clear picture during the day, pretty good pics at night (the closer the better on pics at night) and they can mount to a tripod for longer recording sessions. They also have a nice durable case, so no worries on them getting damaged or banged around. The battery life seems pretty good. I got mine in June 2022, and still on my first set of batteries. My IR still goes to 5 of 7, even with low batteries. The display screen is nice, clear, and bright. I have shared them with family and friends, they all were impressed also. This is my first experience with night vision (of any tech), so I didn't know what to expect. It was something I had always wanted, but I had low expectations. The reviews were overall good and at that price point I finally decided to take a chance. I am glad I did, these work out nicely. I have shown these to a few of my friends and they all agree with me. The shell of the binoculars feels durable and fits nicely in my hands. The buttons are appropriately located for ease of use. It came with a nice protective case and it takes 6 AA batteries (not included). There is a good amount of zoom and manual focus adjustments that can be made before you lose resolution. You have the flexibility to view, take pictures or capture video. The only negative thing that I can say is that not all of the functions are self-explanatory on how to use. For example the buttons used to zoom are the same ones that activate night vision, as well adjusting the night vision intensity. The user manual does provide clear directions, so I have no doubt that it will become second nature the more that I use it. ... show more

I have to admit that this product wasn't what I was expecting. First off I have used helmet mounted night vision goggles before being in the military. When I decided to look for something on a budget while still having quality I came across these. At first impression I thought in some way they could be used as a mounted goggles, I also thought of the idea of binoculars, both interpretations were incorrect. After I received this produt, the best way I can explain what this product is suited for, is a video monitor with zoomable night vision. With that said I am extremely pleased with the performance of it and surprised myself that it worked better for my use then having it helmet mounted. I actually used it while prospecting in mine shafts, underground tunnels, and caves. With the built in IR and adjustable focus this devise was able to receive an image with great clarity, detail, and brightness. It has excellent range when used correctly. Trying to take a photograph of what the image looks like of the night vision does not do justice of what theses can do. If you go camping, hunting, and or nighttime activities this is a unique product that has many uses and can be a fun adventure if you have kids. I highly recommend this product. One last thing I would like to mention is that the best batteries to use in this is the energizer lithium ion batteries and it has a 12 month warranty ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought these for my dad for Christmas, and I was a little skeptical at first. However, I borrowed them for a weekend and took them to my house, where we have a lot of deer. Needless to say, it worked! It worked so well that I actually had to turn down the brightness, because it was lighting everything up in the viewfinder too much! In the video that I included my review, there was no light on anywhere in the area whatsoever, yet I could still see everything. I highly recommend these if you need to see in the dark … And the picture video quality is great too! ... show more

The quality of the images is awesome. Direct quote from my grandson. They are sturdy and easy to use. My grandson used them for the first time over the weekend. It was easy for him to use as a beginner, no confusing tricks needed to get a good image. Are comfortable to use as a teen age boy. He is the envy of his friends. Overall impressed with the quality and price point. I recommend reading the manual to learn button placement . These will be used quite frequently I am sure for camping and teen age fun. I honestly thought that for the price this was not going to work or the quality was going to be very poor. I was wrong!! The night vision and normal vision are great + the amazing extra features of having an SD card and ability to record/save pictures AND video (of different qualities) really just sets this product apart. At least, for hunters or even bird watchers (which is not my thing), but I do hunt a lot and this really helps (day/night) to track and scout, then when you get home you are able to review any pics or videos taken and sort/save them for reference. The only reason I give a 4/5 in "zoom" is that there is no zoom - technically it has a set distance it can "see" and ability to focus. So, the focus is more like the "zoom" as it allows you to see at different distances, but only at about 75, maybe 100 yards, where it is good. Anything further out is hard to see or not visible.
