Good variety in sizes. Pretty easy to store, stack, and clean. The lids seal pretty well and they are sturdy enough for my leftover needs.

    • Small but useful

The lids are a bit flimsy. They are not like the lock tight lids from pyrex. The containers are strong. They are small for stacking so they work well when I put them in the fridge or store them in the cabinet.

This has a lot of storage pieces all in one box. The problem is, they are very small. Unfortunately I'm not well versed on cm sizing. My mistake. I'm sure the little sizes would be good for good prep of salad dressing or sauces but as I said. Way too many of them and not enough larger sizes. These are all plastic. 4 sided snap on lids. Washed very nicely. Not the set to get if you have a lot of left overs like a big pot of spaghetti. Work good and stack nicely in the cupboard. ... show more

Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. I didn't get paid for the review and, in fact, I Pay 45% in Federal and State Income Taxes for each item. The Food Storage Containers with Lids are airtight and leakproof, as advertised, and available at an affordable price. The lids are designed to enhance stacking and storage of the containers. The containers and lids are semi-clear but contents are easily identified or use the included, reusable labels. Unlike some containers, this set of containers can be used in the microwave oven and go into the dishwasher. I didn't test the containers and lids to see if tomato-based foods and sauces remained after washing. My only complaint, because of arthritis in my fingers, is having to handle 4 closures on each container. ... show more

I got 4 big items, and each of them has another container inside. Eventually, you will got a lot of containers with different sizes. the bigger one or two might be good enough for a meal, but the smaller ones inside them are way smaller than I expeceted. the quantity might give you an expectation that most of them are useable, actually they are not quite. As being a plastic container, they will not be able to easy to clean as those glass ones. ... show more

    • Hard to close, lids don't fit perfectly, and small containers are useless

I have 2 sets of these in different shapes, but I want 0 sets. Let's start with the misleading headline saying it's a 40 piece set. Yeah, 20 containers and 20 lids. Not 40 containers. So beware right away. Second is the the lids on everything except the round containers don't fit right. The lid sits above the lip. But not on the round ones. On this the lid slides on covering the lip like every other container on the market. But the lids have a strange feature...the large round lids have 5 snaps. Yes 5. By the time you open it, it takes so long your food will go bad! Just buy Snapware or Sistema and skip these cheapos. And one more thing...there's only a few big containers. Most are small and really useless. I just wish I had bought some big ones only from a top brand and avoided these. ... show more

This is a decent mid-range set. It's not high-end quality but not the cheap stuff either. It closes easily and securely and is thick enough plastic. It definitely gets the job done. This will be my new go-to everyday use for storageware.
