The screwdriver is the best part of the kit. The screwdriver I used orginally stripped two of the screws and made upgrading to an SSD a nightmare. I ended up getting this back cause my orginal back got damaged from the strip screws. It looks cool and fits perfectly.

The heat absorbing spot on the backplate is an addition I didn’t know I needed. It actually makes my deck run a few degrees cooler. Be careful though, the heat plate gets pretty toasty. If the top of the backplate wants to keep popping out along the seam, pop it back in then slowly and carefully tighten the screw closest to the section that wants to pop out. The side fit but above the heat plate didnt wanna clip into the steam deck. Possable thermal pad could be to thik. And the rear buttons where being pressed once. The plate was installed and screwed down. I must have received a 1st gen production unit. Allso color was soo dark red it was really transparent at all ... show more
