Update: We bought our first set of JP Winlook Pickleball paddles over a year ago. At that time we were beginners. We found the paddles to be the perfect weight and the grips are good for both of our hands (one small, one average). The paddles allowed us to improve our game and held up incredibly well with regular use. After playing for the past year we wanted another set to enable us to play doubles with friends who want to learn the game and so we bought this set, which is an updated version of the one we already have.     • Well balanced paddle for beginners at reasonable price for a set.
Good value for a well balanced beginners' set of 2 paddles w/ good grip/texture on the paddle-faces to do some top and underspin. Small carrying case with balls too so you can easily invite a newbie friend to lend a paddle and start playing at public pickleball courts. The head of paddle is not oversized but it seems to catch the "sweet spot" pretty easily. Very satisfied. Supposedly competition-regulation approved so that's a nice bonus in case you enjoy it enough to enter recreational tournaments. ... show more

I'm a longtime tennis player/coach just into Pickleball and love the paddles longer handle, softer sound/feel and it's not over sized or bulky frame is perfect... also like the slightly larger 4 1/4 grip size. This is a fantastic value and well thought out features. These were on sale for $19 because the graphic wasn't popular. They're great to play with. Much lighter than plywood.

This is a great deal for pickle kit. Priced fair with whole set. The paddle is light, solid and not as loud as other paddles I used before. Also, after purchase, Winlook will provide you with a few extra balls if you contact them. If you want to wait for Prime sales or Holiday sales, you could even get a better deal with coupons or company's promos or sales, like I did. I will let anyone I know that is looking for a pickleball set to look for the Winlook brand in Amazon. I deducted one star, which is kind of minor, but the handle is not shrunk-wrapped in mfg. plastic when you get it, which most other pickleball paddles handles are, but not a deal breaker. ... show more
