I got this tent to use in my 2021 Ford F-150 short bed truck. It fits the bed very well and lets me use the tailgate as part of the tent floor area. It sits on the bed sides and has an enclosed floor. This is important to me to keep any dust/dirt from the truck bed outside the tent. Some things I really like: * it is tall inside. I can stand up inside, mostly, just a bit hunched over. This is great for changing clothes in the privacy of the tent. * it comes with a rain fly. However, it seems mostly water repellent without the rain fly. When I used this tent a couple weeks ago there was a thunderstorm. It stayed completely dry inside. I would have put the rain fly on if there had been stronger wind. * it fits a full size inflatable mattress with some room to spare. I am able to keep my backpack and a few other things next to my inflatable mattress inside the tent. For occasional camping, this is great for me. I'm not looking for a permanent camper shell at this point (more expensive, I lose "truck stuff usage" utility). It's quick to set up and take down. It comes in a stuff sack bag. My only suggestion to improve it would be to have microfiber sheaths for the tie-down straps to protect the paint. ... show more

I love this thing. I need nothing but my truck and this tent for weekend fishing trips. Save a fortune vs. motel rooms If it lasts even two years, I come out ahead. But, I think it will be good for at least five years......of rough fishing weekends. Great value. Keeps the outside out. Easy set up. Big enough for two, plus a dog. This thing functions as a motel room in my truck bed. You won't be disappointed. Quick ,comfortable camping done easy. Unless the dog farts. But, that's not the tents fault. Love it immensely. So I needed ample time to really review this tent! Which shame on me kept me from being able to return it, anyhow lets dig into it! So the tent is overall fairly neat. It was kind of a trial and error thing getting it to set in the bed of my 05 Ram 2500. At first it did not seem to really fit all that well, but positioning and tension on the straps that secure it are crucial and will vary from bed to bed. After finding the sweet spots the tent fit pretty well with minimal issues. The poles that came with the tent were really nice and made of a good quality aluminum. They were however just a bit long which prompted me to shave them down a bit, this was probably the reason the tent had my next issue. During a decent rain the tent does leak a little, not so much to drench you but it does drip a little at the seams, which is why I shaved the rods down, there has not been a rain to test this modification yet. It seemed the treads were just over stretched! Next up was the entrance of the tent, it never seemed to sit flat and made for difficult entry but that aside the tent is rather spacious. This was never really figured out but the tent did take on a little water during the rain, this could have been due to the angle the truck was parked at or due to the rods being too tight and allowing more water in then seen in the drips at the seams. This tent is pretty cool but getting older and having a slightly lifted pickup this thing really isn't the most conventional for long weekends. For getting away for a night it sets up in 15 minutes and tears down in the same time frame, its light and easy to pack, offers great headroom and did a great job in the weather considering the faults I had mentioned just don't forget a step stool unless you are in a low rider lol.... Update 9/14/2014 So without asking I was contacted by customer support, they had gotten touch wanting to know if I wanted a replacement for my tent. I said no that was quite all right I was outside of the return policy and that's not a big deal, however they insisted. After accepting my tank got here within 4 days of talking to them, but I was unable to test it for a few weeks. I just got through with a long-term stay with family at a reunion, and this tent was the only one that I used. I had the same issues before with the truck height but that was nothing to do with the tents fault... As a matter of fact all of my previous issues were solved, almost like the previous tent I received was a fluke. The rods all seemed to fit appropriately and nothing was stressed out, the seams were all nice and tight and the tent laid nicely in the back of my 05 Dodge ram. We had two heavy rainstorms and two light rain storms both of which the 10 did not leak any outside of condensation. Anyone that camps knows that condensation is always an issue especially given this time of year with the cool and the hot. I didn't take any pictures of the final set up like I though I did but it was really nice with tent All spread out and the bed inside of it. There is also a cool little window in the back of the tent, if you have the rear window on your pickup you can pass things though it kind of looks like you can attach it somehow. Kinda neat! All in all after using this tent and knowing that my first product was a Miss ship, and the company was willing to do anything to make sure I had a good product made me want to buy from them again. They have other models of tents I have been looking at and a more than willing to give them another shot. Customer service like that is hard to find, and it really sold me on this company! ... show more

Truck pictured is a Toyota Tacoma 2019 - 5 ft bed. I want to say that inside there was plenty of room for both my husband and I to sleep comfortably, along with our little 12 pound shihtzu. We also were warmer than our friends inside the ground tent, perhaps since we were off the ground, so something to keep in mind if you are worried about being cold, you will likely be nice and warm in here (with proper blankets and such of course)! Setup did not take long with two people, and take down was much the same. very easy both to assemble and disassemble, even as this was our first time trying! Not much more to say other then we felt pretty cool having our truck tent and were comfortable! I opted for the aluminum rods, they seemed very sturdy and I'm sure will show to be sturdy and hold up better than the plastic in the long run. Pair with a camping mattress (we used Dikasun inflatable suv mattress as a perfect fit for our size truck bed) and you are set for a great camping experience! It survived its first weekend. Nothing broke on it , it performed as expected, its is very spacious inside, I got the air mattress with it and it held air overnight , slept just fine. I love it so far and Iā€™m happy with the purchase.
