  • couch noodling and practice
Really great for the price, I can get so much out of it… I get clean, overdrive, distortion and even fuzz with the right tone adjustment… nice reverb and connect flawlessly via Bluetooth…. It’s cheaper than a guitar cable and fits the guitar case to take it anywhere to practice! First joyo product that I actually like. ... show more

  • Goodish
Does what it's intended to do and sound quality is more than adequate, although it could stand to be louder. instructions aren't very useful and I couldn't find the control app they refer to. Slightly bulky but lightweight

  • It's ok, but a few odd decisions
For $24, you can't expect too much. The sound works, It's portable, and has a rechargeable battery. The sound is ok. It lacks low end and distorts easily when overdriven, but again, it's $24. The clean+reverb and overdrive+reverb really aren't bad, but the distortion setting is ugly. The reverb really helps out the first two sounds. But does this work for noodling around on the couch with out dealing with wires, or maybe even playing along with another quiet instrument like a digital piano? Yes, and it's worth it. However, there are real issues if you're fine with a lackluster sound. Something unavoidable is if you turn the speaker towards you, it's then playing straight into the pickups. This causes tons of feedback on the distortion setting and makes it near unplayable. If you're a metal head wanting to dirty tones, this isn't for you. The other issues are just poor design decisions that wouldn't impact price. First, as another reviewer pointed out, the fit in a strat style guitar is bad. I have a G&L Comanche with a strat like body, and the plug just barely fits in the front facing jack on the guitar. They could have extended the jack just a few mm and it would have been so much better. I took away a star for that My biggest issue is that when the amp is turned on and NOT connected to blutooth, the blue LED blinks. Why??? It's so annoying. I'm trying to play and there's this small blinking light in the corner of my eye. It's distracting and such a stupid design. The blinking supposedly stops if you connect it to a blutooth device, but I don't want to do that. I just want to plug it into the guitar and play and not have to connect anything else, but now there's a blinking light. Can they update the firmware with this somehow??? I was about to send it back but then I covered the LED with electrical tape. It's mostly hidden the blinking, but I know it's there. Ultimately I'll keep this thing because it's cheap and I'll actually use it. It even sounds pretty good with my Fender Acoustasonic! Yes, a $24 amp plug sounds good with a $2000 guitar. But why does the LED need to blink at all??? just change the color when connected to blutooth instead. ... show more

  • The charge lasts forever
I charged it one time and I play for hours at a time. Cool little practice gadget

  • Cheap and easy to use but…
This product works great and wasn’t broken when delivered which I thought because of the cheap plastic. This product is perfect if you prefer to practice a guitar standing. This product however can not handle too much input… it can only handle a certain amount of noise before overloading… doesn’t break but sound quality dims when overloading but always changes back to the same sound quality and level. Perfect for price👍 ... show more

  • Are you kidding?
This tiny amp would be great if you could actually plug it into a Fender Strat... except you can't because the amp's plug isn't long enough for the strat's recessed jack... which one would think would have been a primary design consideration seeing Fender Strats are rather ubiquitous as electric guitars go... Very disappointed. ... show more
