Description

The Blues Jr. Lacquered Tweed takes Fender's 15W gem and gives it the true vintage treatment with a lacquered tweed covering and a vintage-voiced 12" Jensen speaker. Its golden tones are generated by an all-tube signal path using a pair of EL84 output tubes and 3 - 12AX7 preamp tubes. Add renowned Fender reverb, flexible controls, FAT switch for mid boost, and you're in business. And just look at that chrome panel, that tweed finish with vintage- style brown and gold grille cloth, and those vintage pointer knobs!

  • Tweed Blues Jr is Great Value and Great Amp
I bought this after playing a Katana 50 for a few years. I started playing at 15 and life got in way and picked up again after years and am fully into it again. I love this amp. Its a great amp I know everyone says this but Fender gives you a great clean platform. Being a valve amp you need to understand how to get good tones out of the amp. No effects loop doesn't seem to be a problem. I have a good sized pedalboard and I can hit my Friedman OD 200 and it sounds like a Marshall. I can hit my big muff and sounds great. I use reverb and delay and everything is fine. You do need to follow pedal chain basic rules. Time effects at the end. But I run the big muff vefore my tuner. Fuzz pedals are best direct there should never be anything in front. I didn't believe it until I put in front of my polytune and it sounded meaner. My strat sounds like classic strat on neck which is fav tone. Add a lil dirt and whatever you like and it will sounds great. Its loud. If you have a small apt the katana is better for that honesty. But I dont use my katana much anymore but I do have in office to play when i have spare time. The reverb on the tweed are not as drippy as a Deluxe Reverb or a Princeton. Has a great spring reverb but you have to crank it to really get it and still not like a deluxe. Again i just hit my JHS reverb if i want crazy verb and flashback into a boss analog delay i dont run at once just saying they all work well. Great for 1st tube amp or pro ... show more

  • Amp
Fender Bluesman,I love it,it arrived on time and very well packed,I was concerned because it’s a tube amp,the amp sounds wonderful beyond my exspectations.I have a fender Strat and a fender Esquire they both sound good through as does my Gibson SG.I should have got myself one a long time ago.

  • What’s not to love? Warm tube magic.
Great small amp with plenty of punch. Great soft tone for my strat. The volume and master have plenty of room to run and should have no problem keeping up with the big guys. Small venue no problem, mic it and your good to go bigger. Small enough to get it in and out of the gig easily with no compromises. Added a tube screamer and a Boss blues driver because the amp itself falls a little short of that really rich overdrive. Excellent tube amp that when you dial it in just right you can’t help but smile. Fun and enjoyable. ... show more

  • Smooth sound from the tubes
I rated this 5 stars for the pure smooth sound the tubes provide for both electric and acoustic. Plus, it is really a good looking amp!!!!

  • Perfect little amp with big sound
It’s loud for a small amp, but very warm!

  • Great small amp
Volume is kind of annoying since there's no sound at 1 but at 2 it gets pretty loud, then 3 is too loud for most places. Great tone though

  • A real professional sounding tube amp with amazing sound. Small but plenty of power
This amp is everything its advertised to be. A real professional sounding tube amp with amazing sound. Small but plenty of power . Could always add a big cabinet if needed. However this would be plenty for smaller gigs .Wonderful fender quality. Nothing negative to say.

  • It's a tube amp, what do you expect?
I play both harmonica and guitar out of this tube amp. You get what you pay for here and this is a straight-up fender tube amp that responds like a tube amp should. It doesn't have bells and whistles and only sounds great when cranked. The traditional fender reverb sounds good too.
