My girlfriend’s little brother was a doctor, a mechanic, a dentist, a baseball player, and now he’s a grill master 🗣️🔥‼️ This set is neat and comes with a lot. It’s a good size for kids and even I can sit down and play with it when he tells me that it’s my turn to cook- albeit, i’m a short king coming in at 5’8 ✊ The grill itself is easy to set up; the food sticks together via velcro; and the utensils seem a bit small for the food being handled; the “sharper” utensil(s) are a bit flimsy (VERY good for safety reasons, but bad for grabbing food) Pretty solid overall and it was a worthy gift. Our first grill was sent with the lid cracked upon opening. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one for free! My three year old nephew loves his grill and customer service was very helpful and easy.

    • Almost the perfect toy!

My nieces and nephews loved this grill! It was a huge HIT!!! It's almost the perfect toy, but here's what you need to know... 1. Be aware that the grill comes with a plastic shish-kabob skewer that is thin and pointy to put the pieces of "Pepper and chicken" on. I put it in quotes because we had to look up what they were. In our opinion the skewer was a bit dangerous for the 2-4 year old's that were playing with it so we threw it out. 2. On our model, the gray sleeves that you slide onto the legs, to attach the wheels, did not line up with both the red bottom tray and the wheels. As we assembled it, we tried to make them align the right way and ended up cracking the corner of the gray plastic sleeve. We ended up using JB weld to hold the pieces together, but unfortunately, our wheels are crooked and they won't roll. The kids just drag it around, which works fine for them, but kind of a bummer. 3. The tongs, which the kids love using, are a bit flimsy so the food sometimes falls out. We ended up giving them a real pair of mini metal tongs to use. They enjoyed that much better. 4. The kids LOVE that they can light the coals with the make believe lighter. We all, some of the kids included, wished that it automatically shut off after a couple of minutes. The noise gets a bit annoying after a while, and as they go from toy to toy to play, you are constantly having to pull all the food off the grill to pick the grate up and turn it off. 5. The oil bottle, salt and pepper shakers, and catsup and mustard bottles stole the show with the girls! Overall, this grill was a great purchase and got LOTS of play time. :) ... show more

We got this for our 3 year old nephew’s birthday, and it was a big hit! It is a little wobbly and may not last, but he enjoyed it, so we recommend!

I bought this for my kindergarten classroom for our end of the year camping pretend play. The kids LOVED it and it was so cute!! Super easy set up!! Then I bought one for my little nephew!

Super cute toy for kids 2 and up nicely made has a lot of cooking items to play with. Kids can use a magic lighter to start the coal it also has sound like sizzling. Would recommend😊

This toy came with many cute items, and the food items themselves are okay. The grill and the tools are very cheap and broke easily. While putting it together, the bottom red part that goes under the grill broke almost immediately. My son was able to snap the tongs in half easily, and a wheel has broken off by now (we purchased in late March, it is now mid-July). Also, agree with other reviews on here that the skewer and small food pieces are not safe for the age range. My son tried to eat the small food pieces, and we took the skewer away because he likes to run with it in hand. Older kids would be okay with these smaller parts, but not for our almost 3 year old. I do love the picnic items, and we do great pretend play with everything else. Just sad that the grill itself is basically useless now because it won’t stand without the missing wheel, and so many parts on it are broken now that it seems pointless to try to keep fixing it. ... show more

It’s a great gift, they will love it but it can get a little loud very easy to put together and was affordable the kids had a fun time playing with it and it’s wonderful for everyone!
