We've only found 1-2 dead before but they're usually all alive. The roaches are on the smaller side but they still work lol. This was my first time ordering live feeders online .... but 👌 WOW... very happy. I did not find any dead in the bag. Loved the packaging and the paper inserts. Half were a little smaller than I expected BUT... they will grow and there were plenty of roaches big enough to use till the others grow. I would consider getting the large next time or getting more to offset the smaller ones. Overall very happy with the packaging, service, price, and health. I now have a very pleased bearded dragon and paid about 40% less than my local store (.40¢ per with a mix of sizes) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was scared to buy bugs online thinking more than half would be dead. They came in 3 days packaged safety and with some extra coupons inside. My leopard gecko loves these dubia roaches. They are very nutritious and easy to keep, requiring orange slices or something similar to get their nutrition and liquid intake. They all arrived alive and within the delivery estimate. I got 100 of them and they have lasted for a month now with only a couple dead ones. I also feed my gecko crickets. These do not smell, unlike crickets, and last longer. They can use a smaller space than crickets since they like to crowd on top of each other. The only downside is that they are smaller in size and are expensive. I would recommend getting the medium or large ones since the small ones are very small. ... show more

The insects arrived a day early, and the packaging was perfect! They came in a reusable bag with a good-sized egg carton. Also all the critters were alive! I also received some extra coupons, but my favorite was the personal note with a uber cute frog drawing!! I would highly recommend Josh's Frogs and will be using them again! PS: not sure why Amazon wants to know the flavor. I, personally, don't know, but my geckos can attest to their delicious flavor. ... show more

    • Inconsistent Sizes
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
Going to stop ordering from this business. I never receive the size of the Dubia roaches that I ask for. Never. I have an adult bearded dragon and I receive more BABY dubia roaches (1/8 +) than the size I request (1/2" - 3/4"). To get these dubia roaches to the size I would need, I would need special tools (heating lamp, storage bin, egg cartons, fresh food, and time - all of which I no longer). When they arrive, they arrive in a mesh bag - the WORST form of transportation you can put dubias in! They should be in round plastic containers with holes at the top so they don't climb or escape. Dubias "climb" mesh bags and the moment you open them, they all try to escape. Not happy Josh's Frogs! I am paying more for the size I am requesting, and you continue to give me babies which are so much cheaper. Done with this business. ... show more
