The temperature dropped and I was nervous about the roaches arriving alive. But the packaging was well done and they were secured and alive when opened! I ordered 100 medium for my Bearded Dragon. He hasn't had any in awhile. Hard to get at the pet store. I actually counted to make sure I received 100. They give you extra which is great. The ones that 22 that died I still had 100. I fed my baby 10. boy he hopped on them quick and was looking for more tomorrow my baby! I also purchased the jel for their liquid and the food, its been almost10 days and they are growing wonderfully. 10 or more the size of quarters and I even have babies. My leopard gecko loves these dubia roaches. They are very nutritious and easy to keep, requiring orange slices or something similar to get their nutrition and liquid intake. They all arrived alive and within the delivery estimate. I got 100 of them and they have lasted for a month now with only a couple dead ones. I also feed my gecko crickets. These do not smell, unlike crickets, and last longer. They can use a smaller space than crickets since they like to crowd on top of each other. The only downside is that they are smaller in size and are expensive. I would recommend getting the medium or large ones since the small ones are very small. ... show more

These are great! My beardie doesn't like crickets and neither do I. These arrived on time and all of them were alive and well. Over a month later and we just ordered another 100. As long as I keep fresh apples and oats in the cage with them they do really well. I love that they don't smell or make noise. I have ordered from here a few times now since no one local seems to have dubias. Always come still alive and good health. Trying to start my own colony since shipping them winter months would not be able to ship them to Wisconsin (the be roachcicles 🤣). I would much prefer to feed my beardie these then cricket. All my orders have had over count but they are usually smaller then the rest, so assuming when they count they are onces that get through. ... show more

Shipping time awesome, price decent Dumbest packaging in The world the roaches all came alive thankfully. Opened the box expecting to see a tub of roaches, what i saw was a purple mesh bag tied with ballon ribbon ( like some weird baby shower gift) with two pieces of egg crate in it with roaches clinging and scattered all over the bag. Ribbon was tied so tight had to cut the top off the bag off . Nightmare getting them out of the bag ... show more

My order was not well sized. I got some super tiny ones all the way up to two full grown adults too big for my leopard gecko to eat. I guess they’re pets now. Anyway, I’d say less than half the dubias were within the size range that I ordered.

Hey! So as someone who has ordered from Josh’s frogs and recommend these guys all the time- these Dubia roaches are loved by my beardie. But, I’ll be honest- the packaging is a pain in the ass. It’s a little mesh bag that looks like a baby shower gift, as one comment mentioned before.
