The clock is completely silent. I’ve had mine for over a year now, and still silent. Mine is mounted close to my work desk, and I can’t hear it at all. I wasn’t a fan of the original colors, so painted the face an off-white, and and painted the numbers and hands a gray color. The wood grain effect stands out more after painting.. which I like. ... show more

I love the clock and the way it looks on the wall but I can still hear the ticking so it’s not as “silent” as you think but I can tolerate it.

Looks like real wood. Lightweight. Looks elegant and simple. It came with a plastic mounting piece. 4 tiny nails hold it on the all. There is a plastic peg on the mount that hooks into the hole on clock back much ike a nail head would. Seems more secure than just 1 nail to hang it.

Clock did not keep accurate time upon arrival. Have tried changing out the batteries multiple times. Return process isn't the most intuitive, but once navigated they were efficient and prompt with a refund.
