Let me start by mentioning I am a retired HVAC contractor. I purchased the 10,000 btu unit to use in my 220 sq ft insulated shop. I have the stpoint at 78 deg. Outdoor air temperature is in low 80's. After using for about 4 days I have come to the conclusion that this unit cannot remove heat fast enough from the room. Unit has never cycled off and the best room temperature I can get is about 80 deg. Supply air temp at the unit is 55 deg and the return air is about 78 deg. 20 deg delta is considered a normal avg. ... show more
