I am happy I made this purchase and expect to have professional-looking color stay on my nails for three weeks, easy, for the first time ever. I am hard on my nails, and they typically chip, tear, and break regularly. I’ve never been able to keep polish (or acrylic) on them, even from the salon, for more than about five days. Yes, the bottles are tiny. But there are many colors that will last my daughter and me a long time. There are two bottles each of the top and bottom coats. I don’t expect these to last through all the colors, but they will last long enough that I am well-satisfied with all that was included here. The set paid for itself on the first use, being less than a gel manicure at my local salon. The color selection will be fun. I won’t use some of them, but maybe my daughter will. I do wish there were more in the rose/burgundy/copper color families and less green and blue. That’s really my only complaint, but who knows. Maybe I’ll find a use for them. The light was easy to use. I like the auto-on/off feature, as well as the timer. It took 3-4 thin coats to achieve the coverage I wanted, where my nail wasn’t showing through. The final result is lightweight and natural-feeling, which is an important feature for me. Not like acrylic, dip, or even the heavier salon gel. I am so excited about the prospect of keeping fun, pretty color, professional-looking nails, and having the ability to trim and file without messing up the polish! I bought this to help with the fact that I am horrible with nail polish. I no longer have a physical job that ruins nails, so I wanted to have pretty nails finally! I didn't expect a lot from a $30 cheap kit that comes with everything, but honestly I'm impressed. It was super easy, as long as I followed the instructions. And works great! Did my nails bright green for Halloween (I was a turtle), and they're still just as bright and shiny the next day! No flaws other than my own. The bottles are small trial size, but I didn't expect anything more than that with the price. 2 bottles each of bottom coat and top coat, 1 bottle of matte top coat. These bottles are tiny. You’ll probably only get 2-3 full sets from them (if you’re lucky) they also leave a tacky residue that works need to be cleaned off with alcohol if you don’t plan to use a top coat. The colors are ok. I was arranging my color and its majority red and blue hues with just a few greens. The colors are very pigmented so you could probably get away with 1 coat to save some polish. My teen loves doing her nails and wanted to try using gel nails. This kit is really a great value and terrific introduction to the world of gel nails with a huge assortment of colors, the light and tools to get you going. I would very much recommend this set to someone wanting to get into DIY gel nails. All the colors are in very small bottles, so you can experiment and see what colors you want to invest in, but lots of options for creating designs b/c of all the colors they give you. I may be writing this prematurely so if there’s an update, I’ll for sure change this review… So far so good! This was my very first time doing Gel-X nails AND gel polish on my own!!! I got tired of paying $100+ at the nail salon so I bought my Apres gel-x set and other nail tools (including these gel polishes) and did it myself! I like this gel polish!! For the blue color I only needed 1 coat!! (I did my other hand green and that needed 2 coats)…. Only thing I hate is that the bottles are small. I knew that before purchasing because I read the reviews but I love the variety of colors u get! ... show more

I find that this nail polish is not very durable. It may last close to a week max! But other wise I don’t think it lasts. Now if you want to have a certain color on for a few days fine but don’t look for it to last up to 2 weeks. Consistency is okay for the most part. I love how there are a variety of colors though. I find that it chips a whole lot no matter how good you prep your natural nail or how thin you apply the coats and find the best top coat. It just chips right off after a few days. I try to be soft on my hands but it’ll still chip. I really wish it was more durable. Could be better overall and maybe I’m a little too picky. ... show more

As long as you prep your nails well the polish sticks very well. I love that the sparkle is more of a shimmer sparkle because the polish with big sparkles are always so hard to get off. The polish has held on well and takes the average 2 coats of the color polish but depending on what shade you want you could probably get away with one color coat. 10 out of 10 recommended ... show more

I think this is such a great kit for someone who wants to skip nail salons and do their own gel nails. I love it so much!!! I would definitely follow their instructions on how to make the gel last as long as it should.
