I was really impressed with this gel polish set because I didn’t expect my nails to last as long as they did considering that I washed the dishes by hand in hot water. I was very rough with my hands and with the amount of abuse my hands went through I was expecting for my nail polish to chip in a couple of days. I scraped pots and pans, scrubbed the tub, ironed clothes, did the laundry…you get it. I did it all. My nails looked great considering that I got very little chipping an a few corners. The bottles are tiny and I was worried that there wouldn’t be enough but that was not the case. Also the consistency is more on the milky side so I wasn’t sure if they’d even work. I was concerned that I was applying too thick of a coat but as long as you follow directions they work great. I used the base coat and put my nails under the UV lamp for 60s and I applied 2 coats of the nail polish and put under the lamp for another 60s. Then the top coat and cured for another 60s. They dried in no time and I was very impressed with them. I can’t wait to try the other colors. ... show more

I love this gel polish kit. It is easy to use and the colors are so versatile and beautiful. It comes with the UV light and other basic tools to shape and file our nails. It even came with glitter and other stickers if you want to be creative. I have not gotten my nails done since purchasing this. I can't wait to buy more colors in the future! ... show more

This is my first time ever using gel nail polish with a UV lamp at home. I did not know I was suppose to first apply a dehydrator then a primer prior to the base coat. I pray they didn’t ruin my real nails cause it took me a long time to grow these back out after last having acrylics from a nail salon… I did get some special gel nail remover to take them off easier so hopefully that works. Other than that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS set and lamp. I cannot wait to see how long they last before chipping, and also cannot wait to change the colors again. This color here tho is always my go to color, only I topped it with sparkle top coat this time and I love it. Worth the money for sure. Can’t wait to learn more, and hope this helps keep my nails from breaking, my thumb nail broke literally the day I got this set of course :) ... show more

I bought this kit to save money. So far, I’m impressed with the polish results. I can get at least a week of wear before the polish starts to chip or peel which is worth it in my opinion. The polish bottles are very tiny. I like to rotate my colors so it hasn’t been a problem for me yet.

This is the first gel polish kit I've used and purchased. And while there are things I like about this kit, there are also some things that aren't so great. I like that there's lots of colors to choose from. And I like that this kit comes with a UV light to cure the polish. The negatives are that the light isn't very strong and it's finicky at times. So curing your nails ends up taking much longer than they claim. And that's with two thin layers of polish. The polish bottles are tiny (0.17 fl.oz) And even though thin layers of polish are best, the formula is very thick so applying a thin layer of polish is nearly impossible. The polish is goopy and some times difficult to apply. It comes with tools which is nice. But mostly all the tools aren't good enough to use. The only tool I've used has been the nail file. The stickers are gold and aren't my style so I won't use those either. If I could do it over again, I would probably order polish that's of a higher quality and has a thinner consistency. This kit isn't bad for beginners or for young adults. But I personally prefer a higher quality of product. ... show more

The manicure I gave myself lasted like it would have at a nail salon and it was smooth and shiny BUT the polishes are very tiny, which I expected… but base coat and top coat are tiny too…. You get enough top and base coat for about 2 manicures, but have 30 polishes left. You will immediately want to get extra base and top coat. Also, the polishes smell super strong like chemicals. The smell is nothing like salon quality… and last. The sticker color is nothing like the polish color, so you have to open every single polish to see the color. ... show more
