These used to be my favorite lights. Their default on setting was the always on feature. I plug them into Amazon smart plugs. Just purchased more and the new ones the feature when they come on constantly alternates between flashy tacky settings. So now I have to walk over to the smart plug every single time I turn these on and hit the button 5 times to get them to the constant setting. This is obnoxious. Since my outdoor lights are set on a timer, I don't need a remote which is good since this set did not come with one. For my own uses I wish the blank cord segment with no lights wasn’t so long, but I also complained about other ones being too short there, so I think it’s better to have too much than too little. ... show more

The lights are nice and warm color and I also like the different light patterns. It looks durable but I thought it would be a little longer. For this price, I expected the lights to be a little longer to cover more area. It would have been better if it came with a remote but there is no remote.
