This is an initial review, not a long term review. The panel: Received the panel with one corner slightly bent. This wasn't an issue as the aluminum frame isn't as robust as other solar panel companies. I was able to bend it back with a few taps from screwdriver handle. The fit and finish looks good otherwise. I set it outside and plugged it in to a solar generator at 4pm in central Texas and i got up to 92 watts output. Considering how late in the afternoon it was, I'm sure the output will easily reach the advertised 100w. The charger controller: as others have stated, the instructions aren't the easiest to understand, but I was able to figure it out. Good news is it does have settings for lifepo4. Kind of hard to read since the characters are so small. Also no backlight, but that is stated in the description. The wires and brackets/hardware: the wires are plenty long enough, both the extension and battery wires. They are aluminum not copper, but considering they are for a 100w panel, they are plenty good enough. 12g by the way. Brackets have a good finish and screws are screws. Conclusion: panel puts out advertised watts. I probably wouldn't mount then on top of a vehicle that travels at highway speeds due to the thin frame. Charge controller works well. I plan to replace it and keep it as a backup. Wires are more than sufficient for the electricity running through them. Brackets and hardware are more than sufficient for mounting the panel. The product is worth the money and i will be ordering several more for a ground mount project. Get them while the price is right. ... show more

I ordered the 300w for my hunting camp. Got everything installed, which was very easy, and it wasn’t working. I contacted JN and received a very quick response with troubleshooting instructions. The solar panel I received worked wonderfully, I have it mounted on the back of my truck with a different controller. The controller included is limited in function and isn't intuitive. I swapped it out for a bluetooth controller and it works great with my panel. The durability is also a plus, I've taken it through the car wash multiple times and it still works as well as it did the day I received it. ... show more

Once you assemble all the parts and connect the panels to your charging unit, you will see how efficient that it provides you what you are looking for as far as power. I used two soft horses and 22 by fours and only had to move the panels once during the day to receive the power that was required. Works fine, but there’s one feature I wish the charge controller had: turn the load on without a battery. The controller has a setting to turn the load on at dawn (when the sun hits the panel) but without the battery, it doesn’t work unless you manually turn on the load. It just throws an error that the battery isn’t connected. Easily worked around by adding in a small motorcycle battery, but I was hoping to get away without that. Otherwise, it’s great. ... show more
