I purchased these drapes for my bedroom/office and was surprised at how light they were for velvet. The drapes are very luxurious in the feel of the fabric. I wanted blackout drapes, and these are not completely blackout, they offer enough darkness to the room, so I bought a second set for this large window. Love this curtains and the fact that it has curtain tie backs attached. How convenient. These curtains are a nice weight but not to heavy. I love how I can close them at night and tie the back during the day.

These are the 5TH pair of curtains I bought and am finally satisfied. The morning sun shines in bright in my bedroom window and these are not 100% black out (as I thought I wanted), but rather allow a LITTLE light in the morning which is what I need, otherwise I wouldn't wake up! The other blackout curtains were so stiff and didn't hang or drape properly and as a result looked really cheap. These are lovely. And the price?! $31...can't beat it! They come with tiebacks which are attached. I think tie backs make curtains look very cheap (drives me nuts to see curtains tied in a knot! tacky!) but I easily cut them off so they flow and drape nicely. ... show more

These are beautiful, soft curtains. They are not shear, but they are a little wrinkled when they come right out of the package. I steamed them once they were hung. Very nice quality.

These are beautiful curtains, especially for such a good price. We bought them to separate the living room from the kitchen area so needed the really tall ones. I didn’t bother steaming them just because I’m lazy but they seem to be getting less wrinkly as time goes on. They actually weren’t too bad out of the bag but if wrinkles bother you, they’d definitely need to be steamed. Otherwise they’re absolutely gorgeous, nice velvet quality, and come with tie backs on the back of each curtain. ... show more
